I think I'll wait a couple of weeks before I decide how to react

How about losing to Sunderland in the play offs as the ultimate body blow
-
For the Masochists amongst us aye

Hopefully Hull will be thinking the same way and will be assuming they can take Man U's reserves. What no team needs at this stage of the season is complacency. Hopefully its creeping into Hull's heads as we speak. Facing a fuller strength Man U may make them fight harder than an under strength team
-
Sadly, its not just luck. As much as it grates me and mkes me green with envy to say it, they are just so mentally strong, they never know when they are beaten. Liverpool are the same.

Aye we cant go looking for favours

That's the thing though. They didn't "overspend". They got a grant to do up their ground, which is what they spent the money on. But because they weren't allowed to play their anymore in the League they were in they moved to Kingston Park and now have to pay the grant back. Would you be happy to get a grant to do the insulation or something in your house, you did it and then moved 4 years later, and were asked for the whole grant back. Its madness!!! It is. The FA gave Blue Star a £65k grant (via the Football Federation) to make improvements to the Wheatsheaf Ground. Then a few years later the FA asked Blue Star to join a different league but insisted they play at Kingston Park. Then the Football Federation demand the money spent on the Wheatsheaf Ground is returned and put the club out of business. The Football Federation get £40m a year to support grass roots football. Killing a 78 year old club for £65k is a disgrace. This sport is becoming a joke.

Just seen Burnley's 2 goals. WOW !
-
Was that Xisco on the pitch celebrating with Taylor after one of the goals ? Probably irrelevant but it suggested to me (if it was him) that he is part of the squad and not some kind of outsider. Usually the moody one that cant be arsed just kind of huddle at the back of the dug out and dont run on the pitch to celebrate a goal.
-
Reporter on TalkSport said Reading fans booed the team off at half time. Bit of a surprise
-
I dont think its totally irrelevant. I am guessing that people are trying to put across that he isnt a stereotypical football hooligan looking for trouble at every opportunity. I dont know the fella or exactly what actually happened but I am guessing he just snapped in what was a very emotional environment involving something he cares deeply about.
-
I am joking obviously but after this season, he is probably grateful for a 3 Year ban. Are we sure he didnt ask for it to be extended to 5 ?
-
So nowt to do with the fans then
-
Erring on the side of caution still. 7 This is NUFC remember. We are still capable of blowing it although I have to admit, momentum is now with us more than any of the bottom 3 (maybe WBA but they have Liverpool on Saturday)

Cant work out whether that result would be a disaster or not. Guess it depends on the other results.

Michael Owen - Would you be disappointed if he stayed?
Robster replied to Liam Liam Liam O's topic in Football
I am not sure. Part of me thinks he is just making sure he avoids being injured to ensure a summer move. If no one comes in with a suitable offer and he ends up staying until the start of next season/September, he may knuckle down again -
That's mental, even for Newcastle fans! He was clearly our best player tonight. Maybe it was a Sunderland fan who thought tonight was the Fulham game
