  1. No wonder they look miserable posing in that pic. Awful!
  2. Will keep that in mind if owt changes.
  3. Brighton. Oct 19th. Adult daughter's lined up for it. Had a ST ticket together for about 2 decades after taking her from 3 year old and was a good bonding thing, but the fat twat put paid to that when we felt we had to give them up. Mine briefly when i realised not enough people had done likewise to make a real difference. By the time i got mine back she had other financial commitments, new house etc but had we not chucked it in the 1st place i'm sure she would have found the money. Saddens me really .
  4. Someone please remind me of the rules around ST holders forwarding a one off league game ticket. Can it be forwarded to anyone you know or does the person receiving need to be a member? Booked a hol and miss a game.
  5. I see Ashington v Bishop Auckland (FA cup) is live on BBC red button/iPlayer/website next Sat at 12.30. Think i read both clubs get a grand each for the broadcast.
  6. 2-1 win for blue star at N Shields. 568 crowd with what seemed like an even split of both sets of fans. North Ferriby at home next round but currently scheduled to clash with toons 1st home game
  7. Might go to North Shields with Blue Star tomorrow. Blue Stars FA cup debut since their reincarnation. 2 buses of 70 seats in total going with plenty on a reserve list so should be a good crowd. Pre match pints in Chirton social club lined up for the star fans from 1.30ish.
  8. 1980 NYD? Where the hark now hear the Geordies sing, song originated. Worked with his brother Jimmy at the old Carricks bakery and was great listening to all the stories about Tommy. Jimmy was on total sport alongside John Gibson tonight. RIP Tommy.
  9. Can never find any Olympic football. Is it via the bbc red button?
  10. Cheers for clearing that up. One of the most professional of professional fouls.
  11. I don't remember that happening. My memory has a toon player clean through, cynically brought down but the perpetrator only shown a yellow. Long time ago and memory not what it used to be so could be wrong of course.
  12. Whey fancy that. London City Lionesses away 1st game on a mens international weekend too. It's an option.
  13. He still there? Fkn cheek of him. That's what pisses me off. They hate Newcastle so much half of them spend massive amounts of time here. What's that song? "If you hate Newcastle clap your hands"? Should be if you hate Newcastle divvent gan.
  14. Think these have got a friendly away at Blackpool next weekend. Only noticed cos am looking at going down there this weekend so had a curious look at Blackpools fixtures. Wonder if Wee Paedo-phillie does one of his bar take overs for the MLFs?
  15. Are next season's fixtures out? I've got to visit newly promoted Chesterfield and Bromley to renew my 92 ground list and I read that London City lionesses are ground sharing with Bromley. Think they're in the same division so might be an option to tick the ground off.

    Anthony Gordon

The lad has had his summer wasted. Wish he'd jump on a plane and come home. When he bangs in his 1st goal next season I hope he reveals a t-shirt saying "See that Gareth?". Obviously I'd like it worded more strongly.
  17. Probably as many there as they get at home games.
  18. Undoubtedly any memories would centre heavily around beating the mags.
  19. I keep a close eye on St Mirren and have been doing a few games a season for years...when there's no toon game of course. I agree he's done well. Managed top league, top 6 finishes for the 1st time in decades in the last 2 seasons but i would argue they should have done better. Got a habit of losing to struggling sides like Ross County and St Johnstone etc. He'll do nowt in the championship.
  20. The Magpies will play in Europe after all. Think this article is from last year but they're in once again. 3rd season running i think. https://true-faith.co.uk/brunos-magpies/
  21. old farts like me aren't familiar with such modern practices. No wonder I thought it was unusual.
  22. Obviously can't be helped and don't want to mock any ones condition but couldn't help but notice Ryan Fraser has a curious skin condition when he had his shirt off at the end of the game. Big, circle like birthmarks. Reminded me of a twister mat.
  23. Best result they've had all season yesterday. Meanwhile I've got Ross Co v Raith play off game on. Saltire in one corner of the ground with a Sunderland crest on one side and Raith on the other. Raith 4-1 down so the owner won't be so happy today.
