What, in January?
-
It's like watching a grown man kick 10 shades out of a small child, but the small child is Hitler so it's all good.

Watching this just shows more and more how good that 3-3 draw was and the fact we nearly won too. This manure side beat the Liverpool side that completely ragged a win against us. The league, bar the top 2 is wide open this season. Oh yeah and Haaland is just a cheat code.

Miggy scores worldies or nothing at all

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)
Mattoon replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
I was sure this was a done deal in the summer, I think Maddison pushes this one through himself in January. -
Poor game for Pope tonight, his distribution was suspect and was nearly at fault with a heavy touch early on. Hopefully he has that out his system now and back to being his glorious best for us at the weekend.
-
Get shot of him now, this World Cup is going to be a total embarrassment. Maguire at fault again.

It's gone to pot, heads are down and passes are all over the place

The way we're playing at the moment USA will do us

Should be 2 or 3 up by now Germany
-
Maguire masterclass again
-
Germany just aren't very good any more are they?
-
That line up is absolutely awe inspiring.

Slaven Bilić will be Watfords 9th manager in 3 years, nothing like a bit of stability to get you back in the PL.
-
Surprisingly he's only been sacked 4 times, most of the time either resigning or some fool paying a fee for him. Ranieri is top with 8 sackings then Alardyce, Pepe Mel, Hodgson and McClaren all have 5 sackings.

This was a big one for me yesterday that really frustrated me. I know we like to build from the back and retain possession but the number of times we took the ball back in our third and slowed the pace down allowing them to get back into position was criminal.

Undeserved but we've been so blunt
-
This is far too frustrating to watch

A good pasting today will do nicely

Some reason I feel a bit nervous about this one too. Hopefully an early dominant display and goal to settle my nerves.

I'll take it back, I honestly thought the step up would be too much for them and they'd be bouncing round the bottom, but fair play they've made a good fist of it so far this season. However, it is a long season and its early days, but kudos for being 6th after playing a 5th of their games.

I totally understand the cancellation of games last week, regardless of what other sports did. However, there is no reason, given the timeline of events in the coming week, that this game should be cancelled and would also be annoyed if so. As for the game itself, would be extremely disappointed if we don't come away with a comfortable win. Should be almost full strength for this I'd expect and at home, so no reason we can't take the game to them and look to put it to bed early.
