This could be pretty harsh as he's probably not even playing at 90% fitness but he has looked a level below the quality & possibly physicality required for the CL, it's a shame he's had to wait to this point in his career to get to it rather than 2-3 years ago.

If Southampton get promoted we likely aren’t signing Tino, if Hall plays as much as he did for Chelsea last season we aren’t signing him either.

But makes us better in the long run.

Unsure how people can’t get into their heads that the decision to sign Tino & Hall was because they were available at this time and have the potential to be in the team for years to come, they weren’t necessarily signed for this season. They were signed because they’re going to be in the team for years to come.
