  1. This. One of the positives to Barton leaving tbh. Gives us pace and a vital outlet on the right and thus a bit more balance.
  2. Shame really. Can see this being the end of old spud head. Alas his future becomes more untenable by the game.
  3. Can't think of a more detestable player at the mo tbh. Good player, but a wind up merchant and a cunt. Did anyone see him throw a bottle back into the crowd?
  4. Is there a more punchable face than a celebrating King Kunty's?
  5. Fair play Souness. Called it right there.
  6. Atkinson what a smug cunt. Look at his face walking off there. Fucking twat. Sending off took away all the momentum from Everton.
  7. Bernard was fucking great on his day. Such a shame he left when he did and never really hit the same heights thereafter.
  8. I know this is a twatish thing to say, but at least this fiasco consolidates Krul's status as our number 1.
  9. Can't underestimate how vital Silva is to them not only productively and functionally, but also aesthetically. Feel sorry for him having to deal with Gareth Barry on a regular basis in the midfield. Yep Silva as a player is a joy to watch, Man City as a functioning football team are not. I find City one of the most frustrating sides to watch in the League personally, basically because they have the players available to play a much more free flowing, attacking style of football and really take the game to teams.
  10. Would be genuinely interested to see how City fans would have reacted to yet another Tevez saga had Aguero not been there.

    Love it. Good work.
  12. The biggest advantage of Barton leaving is that we now have pace and an evident threat on either flank (whether that be from Obertan or Marveux). Makes us far more dangerous tbh.
  13. This. Really delighted at the news and thoroughly deserved as far as I'm concerned.
  14. Who'd have thought our midfield would look so much better by replacing Nolan with a player who can run, tackle and pass? I also meant we could very well have signed someone and kept Nolan too. Pards said Nolan didn't want to sign as a back-up player, which he clearly would have become this season. We did well selling him. Also think to have had him on the bench, with his stature and reputation, would have meant him being brought on at the expense of arguably better players who could change a game. That said, I really would like to see some defensive 'back-up' on the bench in Jan. We've a lot of players who could win us a game, but very few who could help us see a game out if necessary. I haven't seen him yet but I believe Abeid's going to be given the understudy role for Tiote. Was very promising when I saw him at Forest, I thought. Very neat and tidy. There's certainly potential there and hopefully a lot more to come from him.

  16. This. Sadly I can see QPR spunking a load on a striker in Jan if they're struggling for goals. They'll stay up I reckon. Villa are dogshit at the mo, however. Zero initiative going forward.
  17. This Cardiff - Leicester game is utterly dull.

Would look better if there was a bit more of a gap between the 'Newcastle United' and SD signs.

At the end of the day, we're not playing too badly with the first 11 as it is. If we were struggling and needed a bit of magic I'd say there would be greater cause to start him but I think it's exactly the right thing to do to ease him in. Defo needs to come on at 60 mins on Saturday though.

What's he said recently? (Have not got twitter)
  21. Same here. Nothing vicious or vindictive. If I remember correctly it was only being sung by about 8 blokes on the way out of the stadium.
  22. In a nutshell. Whilst we've still not got a proper left back on the pitch it makes the idea of switching Jonas pretty pointless.
