The thing to remember is that Charnley/Ashley is never going to get rid of a "Head Coach" under contract here (simply because they are not willing to pay up his contract). Pardew proved that. They will dress it up no end as "having faith in the "Head Coach"" or some shite but it's all about saving money. So no matter how bad the football is, or even relegation imo, the new "Head Coach" will be here for the duration of their contract. This HAS to be the right choice. I'm not confident it will be. And I don't think McClaren is the right choice. Not as bad as some, but still not the right one.

According to Charnley there would be no more "jobs for the boys" type of appointments. But if the Mail article (debatable I know like) is to be believed is says "The former England manager has a close relationship with Carr and has connections with the club’s hierarchy." Mmmmm..... Sounds like that's exactly what you're doing dickhead!!!!

This club man.... No news on a new manager. No news on any transfers. No news on injured players. No news on Ashleys intentions. Get fucking 'no news' translated into Latin and put that on the club crest.

The thing is though, the more people voice their opinions at the match, the more the press will pick up on it. It's once it gets in the media that it'll make him take notice. He'll not want the full media glare on him and his other businesses.
