So our u15s team is actually class then? Get them in the first team
-
A lot of the stuff he tried tonight didn't come off but, as others have said, he played a key part in most of the big chances we created. If we want him to be a creative outlet we've got to accept that a lot of stuff he tries won't come off
-
Wasn't intended to slag him off really. Just his style is pretty weird, everything looks quite messy
-
Never seen a keeper scramble around his goal more than this lad
-
Isn't this taking a rule that most people (rightly) think is ridiculous and making it even worse?

The xG gods come for everyone eventually

Kept waiting for this on the TNT coverage. Never came. Unheard of to not show a handball appeal in the box
-
Thought that was a pretty impressive showing from us tbh given the travel, the fact we can't really rotate much due to injuries, and that they had a week of rest. If Pope had got his head properly on that corner at the end it would have been one of the all time best celebrations in the away end

A family of football officials. Bet they're a right laugh
-
Was never fully convinced the few times I saw him for Bournemouth. Zabarnyi always impressed me more, but sounds like he's been a bit shit at PSG too
-
It's also mental that UEFA scheduled Wednesday followed by Tuesday
-
Mental that they've scheduled us to play on Saturday after playing in fucking Baku on Wednesday. Not expecting anything from this as a result, it's a free hit in my eyes

He's got all the attributes to be our version of Ollie Watkins, he just needs to learn the position a bit more and we need to play to his strengths in that position. There's been signs recently that both of those things are happening compared to earlier in the season/last season where he just looked a bit lost playing centrally
-
Think people might be underestimating these slightly. We should still win, but they've had results in the CL this season against Chelsea, Frankfurt and Benfica, they aren't complete mugs
-
Thought he was pretty good again today when he came on. Looks confident
-
I liked him so much more in this role. He just can't get on the ball enough as a number 9 in our system, but he's got such obvious quality when he gets on it and has players around him. Wouldn't be the first time a player takes a season to acclimatise, and I reckon he's got it in him
-
Was mad wasn't it. "He needs to stop dropping deep and play on the last line." Yeah just ignore the position your manager has asked you to play in tonight Nick, Dion wants you running in behind
-
Incredible how the decisions just got worse and worse as the game went on. That handball decision is one of the worst I've ever seen. How 2 officials missed that I will never know. It was so obviously inside the box from first look I was confused what he'd actually given at first, as the thought of it potentially being a free kick outside the box just didn't even enter my head
-
4-2-3-1 with Big Nick as the number 10?
-
I used to play against Anstey fucking Nomads when I was 16, what the hell is he doing there
-
Quote this for Sunderland next season
-
De Zerbi plays the sort of football that Spurs fans would like, but he's a bit of a mad bastard so could well go tits up very quickly
