Easy to say now as we have no other choice, but agreed, let's hope the leeds 2nd half was a turning point and the break and trip away was a season reset for him to get over whatever physical or mental struggles he's had this year. He now has Bruno sweeping up behind him which should give him more license to burst forward like he did last year. Got 8 goals in 14 games which is highly unlikely to be replicated but it's nearly identical to Lingards 9 in 16 for west ham. There is a player there and hopefully through the disappointment of missing out on an attacking midfielder, Willock can take the opportunity to show us what he's got. Same goes for Fraser, Almiron and Murphy to a lesser extent. This club is going places and they have a chance to show their worth to us in the short to medium term. Otherwise they are all out the door in 6 months time. (maybe not all if we go down )

Now would be a good time for us to announce his injury wasn't as bad as we said and he's back next week
-
Just realised he's going to be in the team for Everton but then straight out again against Villa as won't be able to play against his parent club.
-
Really hope he does well. Has a very crucial role to play in the remainder of this season potentially.

Today is first time I've had the pleasure of experiencing some of our fans YouTube channels. Crikey ?
-
Probably need 5 wins to secure safety. It's gonna be really tough I feel. I think we need a massive result against Everton and build some momentum. Lose and I think it dampens the transfer enthusiasm and the realism of the task at hand sinks in again.
-
I think this is bollocks that we're trying to get him. But separately, seems strange Everton are getting him and VdB, seems like they play the exact same position?
-
Annoys me that man u have potentially strengthened a rival with VdB and strung us along.

Was hoping they were going to be there for the taking. But with a likely boost from a new manager and coaches. New signings and their players giving far more effort, I think this is a hard game now. Their best 11 is alot stronger than ours I would say. Gotta hope our lot are right up to it on the day and they don't turn up.

Well I was ignoring the wrongful use of the more-than sign ??
-
He said no one, not everyone ?
-
I think Wood, hopefully, improves given more game time and training with our players and he and they get more familiar with eachother. If he doesn't then I hope atleast he helps fill the position sufficiently until Wilson is fit for the final run in.

I'm guessing our staffing is still threadbare. So I wonder if the "god no" represents the stress and time constraints involved in actually processing deals and medicals.

2 hours in and managed to open my email inbox ? working from home has its perks but productivity is low
-
Reminds me abit of van persie in the way he plays without the beasty left foot.

God SSN is unwatchable these days with these weird transfer gimps on the round table doing their bizarre stare at the camera behind them thing.
-
Seems low? Wasn't he highly rated about a year ago and quotes of like £30m to Man United? Or is he out of contract?
-
Anything we get today only helps our chances of staying up so fingers crossed ?
-
If we get all players were after today, it will be interesting to see if all the new signings would start in this game? I know they are better than who they are replacing, but it's always be theorised that if you change a whole team then they don't know eachother well and it won't be on the same wavelength. I'd be guessing it would be Burn and Bruno starting only and then anybody else might likely be impact subs if we sign them today.

Who says 1 person can't make a difference. Bit of graffiti and the board allegedly change their mind on who they were going to appoint. ?

Yeah I stand by my comments. There is nothing wrong with what he said at all and I admire people that set high targets for themselves compared to those that settle for what they have got and don't look to improve. “I want to achieve so many things. I want to play for the [France] national team, that is really important for me, to play in the World Cup. I want to play in the Champions League. I have a lot of dreams, to win the Ballon d’Or. Some people say to me, ‘Put your ambition really high and even if you don’t get there you find some good things.’ That is the way I think at this time."
-
I don't even know what that is ?
-
Like Messi, Ronaldo, Salah etc etc?? You can want to be the best individual player you can whilst helping your team at the same time. Salah is the most greedy and selfish goal hungry player going but it still means his team benefits from that drive and desire to be the best. Sure saint-maximin could improve and learn when to pass and when to go alone more but that's all part of developing. Surround him with better players I'm sure he'll pass more once he can see they aren't gonna fuck up the chance he gives them, like our other players do on a regular basis.

Player has ambition to become best player in the world.... Gets turned into a negative ? I just appreciate him for his qualities that he brings to the team and know he will only keep improving with better coaching and surrounded by better players which will unlock more space for him to cause havok. Hope he stays fit till the end of the season. His fitness can only get better under Howe's management and hopefully will have a strong end to the season which is very important to get us the goals to survive.
