And prior to that they had home ties versus lower league opposition for about a decade on the spin in the early rounds of both cups, what's your point?
-
I for one am shocked to see Chelsea getting a piss easy draw of a League 2 side at home. It hardly ever happens. Someone will have to do some serious archive delving to find the last time that happened in a domestic cup competition.
-
I'm not exactly providing zen levels of wisdom when I say this, but West Ham are absolutely knacked if they sell Paqueta.
-
I think we'll see the following side: Pope; Trippier, Lascelles, Botman, Burn; Bruno, Joelinton, Anderson; Gordon, Almiron, Isak Don't think Tonali will start, if Anderson doesn't get the nod then I'd expect to see Longstaff in the midfield instead.
-
I still think they'll scrape top half but won't be threatening the playoffs at all. There's a hell of a lot of chod in the division but the top sides will dust them.

Nick Barnes looks like a character from Wallace and Gromit with his big red hooter and daft tweedy jacket.

Bew hew, lost to Crewe (on pens marra)

It'll be slightly interesting to see how O'Neil does, if he steers Wolves to safety that'll be two seasons in a row he'll have defied the odds and general medical/public opinion.

Paul Merson likes this

Could still eat an apple through a letterbox mind you. You'd think with his career earnings the first thing he'd do is have those railings properly sorted out. I don't mind Jobi McAnuff so much from this lineup. Merse, Mackie and Hendrie are absolutely thick as fuck and painful to listen to.
-
I think he said "he'll know the players, he won't have worked with them but he'll know them and the league"
-
Just flicked Soccer Special on and the first words out of Merse's mouth (they're talking about the situation at Wolves) "...you don't want to bring someone in from abroad, you want Gary O'Neil, he's been in the league recently and will know the players. Someone from abroad takes 6 months to work it out and by then you're relegated" Spectacular insight and punditry as per

Rafa always used to drop him after he had a good game. Recall he set up Rondon away at Everton for a goal midweek and wasn't even selected for the bench at the weekend despite being fit. Was a period around New Year that same season where he set up Perez for the winner at Stoke and had another good game either before or after, and once again was dropped and did unused sub duty for weeks on end. Rafa may have spotted there was a player in there but his usage of him was absolutely horrid.

If they wanted a talentless, bland as fuck ginger cunt they should have got Colback in again on a free before QPR signed him.
-
Ayling's positioning there about fotty yards away from the winger. Awful.
-
Looked canny in pre-season, hopefully he gets consistent football this season and it'll do him the world of good.
-
Don't think so? Funny enough I'm on that Isak one as a single, thought it was a canny price given his goals to minutes ratio last season. On Watkins at 22s also.

Good of you to post that gif, it'll remind the mackems lurking on here of that shite dreary music they walk out to every other Saturday before Charlie Salmon Pants got his hands on Ibiza Megamix.
-
How about we make 3 signings, then 2 more if we need them.
-
Get Livramento and a young up-and-coming CB with a bit pace and that's an absolutely fucking superb window IMO.

If you want a really good flan... The Gardeners.
