Has Mort won any businessmen of the year awards?
-
Behrami and Faubert have both been generally pants this season. No thanks. If we're gonna buy from West Ham I'd rather we bought Mark Noble.
-
I never mentioned the word consistency. I was merely pointing out that even if his form does take a nose-dive, he clearly does have the ability to be a Premiership defender - because you don't have 5 or 6 good games in a row (against some decent forwards too like Crouch, Defoe and Anelka) without having something.
-
Stoke (h), Boro (a), Pompey (a), Chelsea (a), Spurs (h) and possibly Wigan (h) - might have to check that last one. That's 6 games, and to me, you don't play so well for 6 games in 'fits and starts'.

Everything did seem to fall apart after he left, would love to have him back.

I've poisoned all your Xmas dinners, blue team. Prepare to lose, Spurs vs West Ham style. -
It's obvious why City are playing so badly - half the team know they'll be replaced in January or the summer with the megabucks so it's clearly having a detrimental effect.
-
An interesting point, never thought of it that way.
-
If he goes then I would actually be certain that Aidy Boothroyd would get the Blackpool job.
-
You are just about the most miserable man I have ever encountered, on or off these boards.
-
Last year it looked like someone hadn't wiped their arse, and then scooted down the middle of the pitch leaving a giant marmite motorway. Trying to measure the average length of our passing under Sam I think.
-
Yet last season I don't think we'd been away at any of the big four in the league yet... and already we've done three of the four visits and gotten 2 points. Although we haven't played any at home yet...
-
And that's exactly what's happened, so far. Maybe he's performing here because there isn't the same level of expectation he had at Metz - they clearly found him to be their next big thing whereas here he was just seen as a steady backup player.
-
Fancy telling us what it says then?
-
Ryan Taylor's already scored his seasonly wonderstrike against us so that won't happen again. I think we'll win it 1-0 if Martins plays, but if not I reckon another 0-0 on the road.

Man City were totally shocking yesterday.
-
We'll win at Wigan if someone goes and saws Ryan Taylor's legs off.

If anything, the fact that Kinnear and Allardyce both work under the "win at home, don't get beat away" mantra proves how much better a tactician Kinnear is. Alright, he ballsed up the Martins sub a few times, but Allardyce playing a Butt/Geremi without swapping it, or bringing on defenders to try and turn a defecit around is far, far worse. And when Kinnear says "don't get beat away" that doesn't mean he plays for a 0-0 each time (funnily enough he got 0-0's without trying too hard to get them, whereas Fat Sam tried to get them and more often than not we got beat). As for the two late goals vs Stoke and Wigan, well both times were just poor marking at set pieces which is the players fault, and not Kinnears. He could spend hours on defending set pieces every week and they could still go out and do that, there's nothing he could physically do either time. I'm still not convinced he should get a long-term contract, but I'm happy to see Kinnear here for this season. He's done pretty well. :thup

Can easily see him being signing of the season for us, without a shadow of a doubt.
-
Class player who is finally finding his feet after a run in the side. Kinnear would be mental to sell him.
-
Frankly, I couldn't give a flying fuck. We beat you, thats all that matters.

aye, just like the last time we played spurs. So you think it will be a s*** match? not neccisarily, but it's a very odd assumption to make. On the basis of our last premiership encounters with Spurs, it is far from an odd assumption. On the basis of the change in form of BOTH sides since the carling cup, it is far from an odd assumption. On the basis that you cant spell, I'll go with my own thoughts on this. Leaving now, should be good. What the fuck has that got to do with anything? Don't come back, you fucking wanker.
