That's been overdue for a long time, one of those games where most of what we creates goes into the back of the net. Fucking brilliant all round by the lads. Had a feeling of the Brentford home game which funnily enough ended the same score & also involved Murph picking someone's pocket for a goal. West Ham are proper dross. Reckon that'll be Moyesy getting the tin tack tomorrow morn.

Bit of a departure from first halves we've seen lately that. Felt a bit disjointed without being abject or owt but we've only created two chances and taken the pair rather than loads of class play and missed opportunities. Feels made to measure for Gordon second half this does. I'd have him on by the hour and hopefully can get a third and kill it off.

Aye. He'd have been pissing his pants if that was "best kicker of a ball in history" Trent.

but HE KNOWS THE CLUB.

Brennan Johnson would be an excellent addition IMO. Would love to see it.

Quite possibly the only thing that would make the relegation battle more entertaining this year would be if the bottom 8 all followed suit with Palace and appointed an old managerial relic from their past. Leeds - O'Bleary West Ham - Curbs Wolves - Mick Mac Leicester - O'Neill Southampton - Pards Forest - Dave Bassett Everton - Allardyce Bournemouth - Redknapp Imagine.
-
O'Neill That's nearly as out there as when we went and fetched Kinnear out his local working men's club and back into Premier League management.

Heed 3-0 up in their six-pointer v Yeovil

Everton at home, under the lights, with a well-oiled crowd... I quite fancy them to get something tonight.

Kane anytime header 11/1 on 365

I love his knack of ghosting into the box late and getting on the end of stuff, it's a really underappreciated skill. I was going to say that particular trait is a bit like Kevin Nolan but then when you think of Sean's effort, athleticism, graft and yards covered compared to him it feels very insulting to say it

Looked a lot more mobile than of late and glad he managed to stick one in. Seems as though the rest Vs Forest and then only a short stint today has refreshed him a bit, he looked absolutely spent a few weeks ago. Hopefully Eddie continues to manage his minutes and we can still get some value out of him.

A really nice cameo today. Quick and direct, some good quality passes and not afraid to get stuck in and do the dirty work - he was exactly what we needed coming off the bench. He'll get in the side before long and I think just needs his first goal to light the touch paper and start storming the games in.

Man of the match for me. Absolutely took the piss out of Carthorse Weghorst all day and just a pity one of his shots didn't nestle top bag second half, he was an absolute fucking warrior and his distribution is sheer perfection. Two years ago he was on the bench whilst Emil Krafth played centre half in a three with Clark and Lascelles

22/1 first goalscorer, what a beautiful young man he is. Cheers Joe lad!!
-
Might just be his best game in a toon top that. I thought he used the ball well, did the dirty work he had to and his decision making was spot on. I've slated him in the past but he's starting to show he can play a part, delighted for the guy.

What a performance, mint atmosphere, perfect day. Fuck Man U, fuck Ten Hag, fuck their fans. At least it's only 2hr45 back to London on the East Coast Mainline for them.
-
I couldn't believe it when Antony was "injured" about 4 yards off the pitch and 52,300 people had to wait for him to get up and come back on before we could resume play, and yet later in the game a Schar potential head injury where he's laid out on the pitch just meant Man U could counter at will. Absolutely incredible stuff.

Saw an interview with McGinn before today's game and when asked to summarise Emery's approach he said "detailed". Feels like a Bruce to Howe move they've made, PFM dosser giving them a slap on the back and telling them to get amongst it to someone with a detailed, coherent tactical plan.

Definitely a post-pandemic thing. The office I work in has massively relaxed the dress code, far as I know it's much the same in a lot of places.

There'll be a whole new generation of centre halves in the UAE who are experts in the arts of gurning and pointing.
-
Grealish has been outstanding today. Keep them coming please City.
-
Howay City. Today's not the day to throw in one of those limp dick performances that you occasionally put up, get out and absolutely pulverise these red cunts.

Add him to the list of other fantastic Jacks such as Jack Rodwell, Jack Colback and Wearside Jack.
