Is this cunt for fucking real?
-
Shaw out for a month.
-
It's the bloke who said it. Point still stands mind.
-
Like virtually every single team in the world, then.
-
With a bit of luck he'll start charging them to sit on the bench too, might make them fuck off.

Real Madrid, Chelsea, Man Utd, etc. don't need to tolerate bad eggs - they'll simply spend massive amounts of money to replace them. We don't have that luxury.

This, mainly due to our arsehole manager spending the full week telling the world how amazing Man City are and how we can't compete with them.

From a technical standpoint that was much better but just the f***ing thrill of him doing that out of nothing in such a s***, depressing game meant the world. Exactly my thoughts and exactly why I prefer the Bolton goal. A school playground goal if ever there was one. The Blackburn one was better, but I enjoy the Bolton one a lot more. Same here.

Bellamy and Dyer were consistently better than him (when on the pitch). I don't think Hatem would've got into the Keegan side. He'd take Solano's place in the Bobby side but by no means would the team be more geared to him than Shearer, Bellamy or Robert. Not sure consistency is a fair comparison tbh. HBA's consistency levels would undoubtedly be higher under a Keegan or a Robson and Dyer wouldn't have been as consistent (which wasn't exactly one of his strengths) under Pardew. KK and Bobby would have put an arm around HBA whenever he needed it. They'd have both played to his strengths, he'd have enjoyed the style of football both played and he'd have produced a lot more consistently with them as manager because of it.

He is extremely undiciploned to be fair.

I wish I could see what you constantly harp on about regarding Colback. To me, he looks absolutely bang average, 6/10, areet but nothing special at all. That's all well and good but when he's going to be keeping a terrific player like Anita on the bench because of our dinosaur manager, I fail to see your optimism regarding the deal. Well okay, I'll try and pinpoint the main issue, for me. For some time now, we have had a very dysfunctional midfield who struggle to create much on the deck. They have either lacked confidence or lacked ability in passing and receiving the ball. We often see passes designed to keep the ball rather than use it. It goes sideways or backwards, often behind the receiver because the passer isn't confident enough to play it into someone's stride. The result is that the opposition find it very easy to put pressure on us, the ball finds it way back to the keeper or the back four, who then have no choice but to hoof it long because the entire team is on the back foot, with no-one in space. What Colback does, better and more consistently than any of our other midfield players, is he's able to lift his head up, if necessary switch direction, and pass the ball forwards into the receiver's stride. Nothing spectacular or particularly eye-catching, but the momentum of the team is then forwards rather than backwards, mobile and not static. That is why Pardew is playing him, and Allardyce and Poyet wanted him. He's a decent tackler too. The bit in bold perfectly describes what Colback does. Anita is probably the only player we have who is capable of doing what you say we need in central midfield.

I do like how you've accused everyone saying something about Colback of working at Tesco. Thing that cracked me up most is that Stifler works/worked at Sainsbury's.
-
He puts Colin to shame, 180k followers ffs.
-
He's constantly saying it but he does fuck all about it. He just lies to try and appease people who are stupid enough to believe what comes out of his ringpiece.
-
100mins of half-decent football in pre-season doesn't justify all of the other shite he's produced for us over the last 3 years. He's turboshit and is nowhere near good enough for this Club.

Another year at Barça B; he's just spent a season there, and playing at Liga Adelante it's a fairly good level for a lad his age. He looked pretty assured today, mind, but it's just a friendly. Hoping to see him get at least a few first team games this season before stepping up next. Still absolutely stand by this too : He impressed me and many others, including coaches and scouts, massively. He will be a world-class player, mark my words. He's my favorite young player at Barça (even more than Deulofeu), I'm really looking forward seeing him in our midfield in the years to come. From the bits I've seen of him over the last year, he looks so composed. I really wouldn't be surprised to see him displace Busquets over the coming years.

He's probably a lovely bloke but he talks utter shite.
