C'mon Reading!! Must be painful to be a Cardiff player though.
-
What a mess.
-
Not only should we loan him out, but send him to Doncaster, Barnsley or Hull......somewhere like that. Keep him away from the bright lights.

Shearer says the right things, ie working his way up, but it'll take a lot to get him away from his cushty job on the MotD sofa. The problem with the current era of footballers is that 90% are 'celebrities' that don't need the stress after retiring and can promote their brands. They have their clothing labels, their perfumes, their magazines, punditry duties and even record labels. Where will the managers come from?

It's been an emotional 3 years for this thread. RIP.
-
Because it'd cost lots of money and Pep needs a bigger squad. Well yes, City could sell Ade, Dezko and Tevez, but at this moment they're well stocked. Having said that, Aguero is such a talent that I'm sure somebody would go out of their way to find space for him.
-
Wheres he gonna go? Obviously not Real Madrid, it won't be Barca, Man United aren't spending that sort of money, Chelsea bought Torres, Liverpool have C****ll/Suarez, Arsenal are idiots and Milan have about a million strikers. That leaves Man City, but they're well stocked up front too.
-
Nice design, but not a fan of the blue.
-
May as well keep the thread for when he inevitably signs for us.
-
If he's gonna be an idiot about it, then good riddance. PSG, man
-
And they have too many tall, strong, fierce, physical leaders that can be relied upon to never bottle games.
-
What Arsenal need is a small, lightweight, creative, floaty, attacking midfielder. And perhaps a French CB.
-
Heres a hopeful punt: Norwich need a goalie, how about the return of Rob Green? They should be able to get rid of Parker, Green, Ba, Noble and Cole. Can see Upson being stuck there though.

West Ham linked with Allardyce. Manager and owners perfect for each other.

What, like, the whole of Wales? Absolutely. In fact, it's already been wiped off the face of this planet. No, really, it has: http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/00580/news-graphics-2004-_580705a.jpg Britain has lost its beer belly there. Looks a lot trimmer.

Why the hell do yous never have money to spend? Fair enough Kenwright has no money, but you sell out Goodison, receive great prize money and get mountains of TV money. It's such a waste of potential.

Hope is the cruelest of emotions. And we fall for it every time.
-
So the transfer kitty will either be used to sack Bruce and his staff, or be given to 'transfer guru' Bruce to waste? Sounds like a lose-lose situation to me. Ultimately, even if Sunderland do finish above us, they expected to finish miles ahead of us and they haven't. Is finishing 2 points (at most) ahead of your newly promoted rivals a success? Regardless, it'll be a fascinating summer.

Mikey's gonna go psycho soon. He's been bottling up any glimpse of emotion for years now, a spectacular meltdown is inevitable.
-
Well the Welsh have teased promotion for a few years now. It won't be pretty, but it had to happen one day. Lets just get it out of the way!

Overall reflections At the end of the day, we're Newcastle United. You expect the highest highs followed by the lowest lows, yet this season managed to take that to even more extremes. Honestly man, what an absolutely mental season. It'll take some topping! High Moment The one that always comes to mind is Tiote's equaliser in the 4-4. But I keep underrating the 5-1, which at the time felt like the greatest thing that had ever happened. Low Moment Can't pick between Hughton and Carroll. To this day I don't understand why they got rid and I don't think I ever will....that day was full of shellshock. Selling Carroll represented the moment where I lost faith with all footballers. Whilst the money was obscene, is it a crime to want your local 'next big thing' centre forward to stay? I still haven't come to terms with it, really. Best Player It's Tiote, but Colo and Barton have been simply magnificent for us too. Those three have got us to where we are. Lets hope Tiote's flaw keeps the elite clubs away. Best Individual Performance Ben Arfa at Goodison was magical. After the draining transfer saga, there was no way he could meet the hype. Yet he did. My jaw was permanently on the floor and I don't know if I can physically wait until August to see him return. Best Buy As others have said, its must be Tiote. But HBA would've made it interesting if it wasn't for that thug De Jong. Most Improved Whilst Simpson had a really good spell recently, I don't think he's the most improved. Jonas has been great lately but for the majority was his normal, frustrating self. Best had finally made his mark when injury struck. So that leaves Barton, who truly has been one of the best English midfielders this season and his attitude really resonates with the fans. It's great to see so many players up for this category. What a season

Forster and Krul could both be at Euro 2012, although thats partly because Holland have shit backups and all the English ones keep retiring. But it could definitely happen. Its strange how Forster hasn't even been in the U21s though.
-
We just don't beat West Brom and I think it'll be 2-2, and we'll finish 11th. More importantly, do what you can to convince Enrique to stay. Krul Simpson Saylor Coloccini Enrique Raylor Barton Jonas Ferguson Shameobi Sameobi

Campbell, Kuqi, Routledge and Xisco are gone without any effort really. So theres 4 of the dross (and their wages) we've got rid of. After that I'd only want Smith to go because of his wages as the likes of Lovenkrands, Raylor, Guthrie and Perch are pretty harmless. As long as they remain back-up they're on small wages and can prove to be pretty handy....after all we have just drawn at Stamford Bridge with an appalling line up! As for loans, Vuckic and Ferguson are worth keeping but Ranger going is a must. I guess Lua Lua and Krul/Forster will have to too.

Lets hope he's better than Pardew at it then.
