The Quarter Finals: Croatia, Argentina, Morocco, and France through
Pandamninator replied to 54's topic in Football
That's hardly an England thing though in Europe. The international game is secondary, and unlike the 2000's, the FA will always get outbid by Premier League clubs for the top job, let alone the Under 21s. Best case scenario is the stars align and you either get a top manager who is burnt out at the club level and needs a break for 2/4 years (Conte or Enrique) or you luck out with an above average manager who butchered their chances with the top clubs (Deschamps or Santos). -
On the flip side, how much longer will Darlow want to hang around? He is good enough to be the clear Number 1 for a Championship contender and a serviceable Premier League starter.

Have fun with Gerrard or Lampard at the England wheel if some of you get your wish. Or do you think Pep and Simeone are gagging to duke it out for the role? -
Yep - no doubt has done the math and realised that the bag he got from Qatar doesn't outweigh the decade of further plundering he could've done if he hadn't got turfed out as a result of it.
-
FIFA rules - can't be any greater than 26 (or 23 in previous tournaments where that was the squad size).

If I was getting that sort of cash in both salaries and pay offs, i'd give out my personal cellphone number and let the fans bombard me with abuse 24/7.

Probably been discussed/pointed out, but is this weapon also behind this account as well masquerading as a Newcastle fan?

Newcastle United vs. Bournemouth: 17/09/2022 @ 3pm (No UK TV)

Bit harsh. He was utter cack in the last couple of years after his body broke down, but he showed some promise before than. Like many others, the club just rekt them. -
Has little Alex found his twitter password yet?
-
Doubt he's on it currently - more likely what he is asking for moving forward.
-
It's murky - both the previous and current Lille ownership borrowed heavily to buy the club from the same investment fund that directly owns AC MIlan. Seems a similar set up to that top flight Dutch club Roman helped facilitate the purchase of and used as a glorified reserve team for Chelsea youngsters without running afoul of any UEFA rules.
-
Why are those two things mutually exclusive? Ashley was a fat cunt and it was untenable for Rafa to trust anything he told him or promised. Once that was determined, he was more than welcome to make bank wherever he wanted until a job in Europe interested him.

Lovenkrands still own a pair of boots?

The A-league had potential, but naturally they took advantage of the Socceroos 2006 momentum and the hype of the early seasons by... shoving it behind a Foxtel paywall for 15 years. Meanwhile the NRL and AFL keep getting record TV deals and for all their many organisational fuck ups in other departments, run continual master classes on how to properly market their code.

As amusing as his online meltdowns were, I'm happy that his last twitter interactions for the world to see were getting spit roasted by Craig Hope after trying to make out his father and Howe were somehow aligned.
-
Wouldn't that be Wembley/FA selling them, not Chelsea? They just wouldn't get their cut.
-
Wasn't that more to do with not wanting to get injured without a signed contract. A bit selfish yes (although I can't honestly say with 100% conviction I wouldn't do the same thing), but not like he was peeved off at the club or there was a personal fall out with Howe.
-
Apart from Hull and maaaaaybe Birmingham is there any club with a fanbase that weren't happy to see him fuck off?
-
Best sums it up
-
2 points off Wigan but have played 4 (!) more games. They're fighting for a play off spot, no more.
-
It will be very negotiable. At the end of the day, Brighton can choose between a pile of cash coming thier way or paying someone 7 figures to sit at home in their boxers. I would hope we would do something similar. Playing hard ball with Palace over Pardew was one of the few Ashley moves I liked, at least until I remembered the club wouldn't be seeing diddily of the 4 million

It's going to be hilarious to watch him melt down when he realises how much Fat Mike's little media army was sheltering his dipshit father.
