  1. Sunderland don’t seem to have sold all that many so far. Likely still a record, but no prospect of the SOL being a sellout. I’m very surprised they have allowed away fans to be honest.

I’m honestly surprised there isn’t a merchandise kiosk in the Stack. *Enters Stack ’Who the fuck would be buying from that?’ *Drinks a couple of pints ’That Keyring actually looks ok’ *Wakes up hungover the next morning still wearing all 4 new shirts, the new tracksuits, a bag full of keyrings, and NUFC teddies for your lass, with Rufus walking around in a child’s kit that you half put on him ’Argh ya bastard!’
  3. Yes and no. It’s an actual channel that has a main game in it. However it has the red button function, and in apps it has games on it available under the Sky Sports+ banner.

They are clueless, on about getting 55k crowds if they were on the Premier League. The last time they were in it, they got nowhere near it. Even they themselves have the figures, and the average price of a match day ticket when they have only the lower bowl open is £11, it drops to £9 when the upper bowl is open. This is because of the amount of free tickets they offer out. They are going on about Leeds upping capacity to about that, saying it’s justified. Leeds have 20k fans on a season ticket waiting list, that’s how they can justify it. I’m a firm believer that football has become more popular, and if they got into the Premier League, they could get more through the door. I do however doubt that it would even be enough to sell out the SOL. They are even trying to justify it by saying Kyril Dreyfus will want them being the best and putting money in. It was only a couple of months ago they were calling him worse than shit, saying he’s not interested in them anymore etc. It’s amazing what a few wins, and I also suspect talk of our stadium expansion/new stadium will do to them.
  5. Looks like the Club World Cup final is going to have a half time show.
  6. Aye, everything is mega expensive. Training gear, and a shirt the players will never wear is £85. We really need to extend our range outside of clothing though.
  7. In all fairness though, we haven’t really played anyone, the only team really who we have played, we drew with them. It’s very hard to say so far if we will push for promotion. I don’t see us in being in any danger of going down, are already 7 points clear of the relegation spot, and only played 3 games. Bare in mind last season 17 points was enough for safety, and we are a team down this season.
  8. Aye, a foot would have went up someone’s ass.
  9. Looks like the Man Utd fans have left at half time. 100k seater stadium. 😂
  10. Aye, Ange will have the goalkeeper on the halfway line.
  11. Don’t make me change my mind.
  12. There is a reason why even VAR hasn’t overturned it like.
  13. No way it’s harsh, he’s throw his studs in, this was after he slipped. Sorry like, but that was pure malice.
  14. About fucking time that nasty bastard got sent off.
  15. Why do Sky etc keep arguing that Man Utd are not far off a title challenge? Leicester are as close to their 2nd title than they are.
  16. Joe Cole is a fucking great pundit, if he wasn’t then why the hell would TNT have slowly panned the camera to him in the stand whilst the match was playing today?
  17. 4 minutes of stoppage time in the 1st half? Aye fucking right, of course.
  18. Yeah, no excuses if we don’t 3 points there, they are fucking shit. They don’t even have that midweek night time atmosphere that they are so used too against us.
  19. Yeah. I think Burnley will come up because they are in that weird space where they are not good enough for the Premier League, but too good for the Championship. I expected Leeds to run away with it, but it looks like they have lost too many players in the summer to do that. Luton seem to have imploded, and so do Coventry compared to last year. It’s opened it up for 1 or 2 teams to have a decent season and come up, despite being nowhere near good enough to come up, Sunderland, and Sheffield United being prime examples so far. It’s a sad world where WBA are looking to be one of the better options for promotion.
  20. They sold most of their players, leaving them with only 3 players who stand out. You could argue that none of them are leaders as well.
  21. I also think it was rather a tight game. I was on the edge of my seat, even when the ball was nowhere near the goal, hoping that when we never had the ball, we could get it back, or when we did have it, that we could make that break away. In those circumstances, I for one am far less likely to be on here and make a post. I’d imagine it would be similar for everyone else watching on TV.
  22. Chelsea Brighton match still won’t be on 1st.
  23. You sir, have never done a shift at Sainsbury’s.
