  1. It’s a vicious circle. The media focus on those clubs because clicks from around the world are gained by them, they then focus their output towards those clubs, either mainly on stories about them, or positive spin on them (ISAK WANTS ARSENAL/LIVERPOOL) and in turn it just creates more people being interested in those clubs because they are the only ones being covered.
  2. He’s apparently been telling people he’s coming to us for a while and been excited about it. I very much doubt he’s as excited to go back to City knowing that he’ll likely only be given a chance for a couple of years before they move on from him. I mean he left them for Burnley instead of opting to stay. I think people are getting City’s interest in a player, and coming to the conclusion that he’s interested in a move.
  3. Yeah I think the problem is compounded by not only fans who have the money just going, but now you have tourists who will pay. The FSA etc are all used by the likes of the FA and Premier as a box ticking exercise to say they have consulted the fans.
  4. Nah, nothing like that is in there. It’s all very much the same they have now, everything has to go through the FAB first, even breakaway leagues, so the door hasn’t been closed on that either.
  5. The answer is fuck all.
  6. Yeah, this tallies in with what I think. We are 6 years minimum away from moving in, probably closer to 10.
  7. Aye, 25 years down the line when the cartel clubs have hoovered up all the trophies, any decent player you have had, all your newest generation of fans, the training ground is back to being below par, and SJP is crumbling away. What’s not to love about that idea?
  8. Yeah, we were in it (I actually left as it started to be sung). It wasn’t just sung once either, it was constantly being sung, by an actual band. On my way out I drove past another pub further down the street and it sounded like the same band were playing in that bar as they sounded exactly the same as it was sung there. I knew there was sectarianism with Celtic and Rangers, and I know Celtic have an Irish connection, but in reality it really is an Irish republican club playing in Scotland.
  9. Some cunts who follow us away. You could tell that loads of people around us were on gear, even at the end of the match the queue for the cubicles in the toilets was far beyond normal. I actually hope the club start clamping down on it, catch them out and as soon as you do, the ‘stop the boats’ people who also embarrass us will also be gone.
  10. Got back an hour ago. 2 half teams each half from us really, with 4 of our key players missing overall. Celtic are further into their pre-season than us, gifting them a penalty (was it a penalty?), and Pope gifting them a 2-0 lead just before half time gave us a little much to do. I actually think if we had started the 2nd half with our first team out, we would have still won. They got 1 on the counter in the 2nd half, then after that they changed their whole team and their energy levels were above ours. On any other day we should still beat them with ease. We learn’t nothing that we don’t already know. Krafth, Lascelles, and others are not good enough. Pope is a liability with his kicking as well as sometimes coming out of goal, and we struggled to break down a team who sit back. There is a class sandwich shop next to their stadium that costs very little, and Glaswegians are good people. Fuck their whole club being some Irish Republican vessel, and fuck Celtic for doing shit to gets people’s backs up like shining bright lights right into the away crowd constantly, and not even offering to show or announce our lineups. It’s like the club purposely went out of their way to try and bait our fans into a reaction.
  11. Yeah, I ordered yesterday.
  12. That’s good, I thought that she signed for Stoke though?
  13. Yeah, but they are still allowed on the sleeves.
  14. This. If the press actually knew about stuff, we’d have even more stories and updates than we already do. I don’t even believe most of what’s said today. Someone has claimed that Liverpool are his only choice, purely based on Liverpools stature, and everyone has piled on. It’s vast difference from yesterday when they were saying that he wanted to come to us. They make it up as they go along, let’s not forget that that the majority of them share an office with the guys telling you how people fleeing war are the reason why the country is fucked, and that we should get into more wars to change things and it has fuck all to do with the people who own the media outlets being in charge of the country and asset stripping it.
  15. Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if it was him. Sounds equally as weasel like.
  16. Alex Crook knows absolutely nothing, and whenever I see him I can’t help but be reminded of the guy at uni who was fat, sweat 100% of the time, had greasy hair, had a drunken farts smell coming from him, yet the lasses in my class loved him because he was gay despite in his own words saying ‘I don’t even like gay people, it’s a means to an end’. He looks exactly like him.
  17. Actually the land has a much higher book value, Ashley sold it on the cheap, and the company who bought it ran into financial difficulties and bluffed about starting building works on the site in order to entice NUFC to buy it off them, again as a discounted market rate. Also if you sell a business, the general rule of thumb is that you times either to profit or revenue by 10 to get an indication on it’s market value. The Stack could have a market value of about £90m, and that is without considering any future growth.
  18. Davey gate tribute shirts will be enough for Adidas to release it.
  19. I dislike his right leaning politics and views, but he speaks a lot of sense as a businessmen, and has been against FFP and PSR for quiet a while now.
  20. It puts pressure on clubs. In Isak’s case, it makes Isak know that Liverpool are after him, so there for it could lead to Isak asking for a transfer or holding out for an official approach. It also puts us under pressure in contract negotiations.
  21. This is why we need to buy players like Ekitike, and keep Isak. We are creating a club to compete, to cement our position in the top 4-5 instead of sharing it every other season with Aston Villa and only really competing in the cups. It’s exactly why Liverpool are trying to blackmail us. This is the moment they feared would happen when they tried to prevent our takeover.
