He’s lived the dream for us. Played for us, scored for us, and won a cup with us. Unfortunately I don’t think he’s developed as we’d like, or rather the club has like many others, outgrown him. He’s going to a club who are in a position more suited to his level. He has the opportunity to be a big player for them, and he’s still just down the road from his family. I wish him nothing but the best, except against us.

Yeah, but to be honest even as a fan it became clear later on that a new stadium was the way forward. With PSR changing, it means that we have to maximise every revenue. It also became clear that an expansion won’t be enough to satisfy demand. Since the Dallas Cowboys built their stadium in the late 00’s, and a more updated version arrived over here with Spurs’ stadium, then Real Madrid’s’, and Barca’s it also changes what is required from a stadium, and what is required, isn’t what SJP expanded or not can provide.

Shirt designs are all completed about a year in advance. Many clubs in the past who have changed their club badge have shown fans what it will be and went through the process of selecting a badge ahead of the final season.

Looks like the Friday night home friendly against Espanyol isn’t selling very well. Maybe this is delaying the announcement of the NUFC TV coverage for the games.

I’m surprised that we haven’t been updated on the club badge yet. I would have thought that they would want to get it over a done with before the pre-season friendlies.
