I just don't understand how you can commend someone for simply appearing to be a yes man specifically in the role to shield the ultimate decision maker. He was MD when we were relegated in 2016.... but well done Mr. Charnley, sir, despite you nodding with absolute class in MA's direction you were unable to help the team stay in the Premier League (apparently your one remit).
-
I'm absolutely fucking staggered that any legit Newcastle fan could come out with such drivel.

Saul, Kral, Lookman
-
There'll be a few of decent players available on loan closer to the deadline after the selling clubs have been unable to shift them permanently, as there is every year.
-
But what do you believe Charnley did to help us reach our target? So far we've got "He took a lot of shit".
-
What does 'keeping us in the league' consist of though?
-
Again, what did he do under MA that makes you believe that?
-
What did he do under MA that makes you believe that? I can't think of a single thing he did well tbh, he was the John Laurinaitis of NUFC, a yes man unable to make any decision himself without running it by the main man.

As if the club would ever release that sort of information man

The magic of the cup, eh? The mackems will see it as some hard-man thing where a club of their stature cannot possibly loowse to a lower leeyg teeym.

Feel sorry on one hand and I have little sympathy on the other. Bloke's coasted as our highest earner for too long. He's been great under Howe, mind.

Saw him a few times in the Championship and he looked absolutely nowt special.

Not sure how McTominay hasn't been sent off there, shocker.

What are your minimum expectations for this season? (2022/23)
Dr.Spaceman replied to Rich's topic in Football
Think some people have misinterpreted the question. Minimum expectations will be nowhere near 7th or 8th, more like 10th to 12th minus the threat of relegation whatsoever. -
Well worked, that.

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)
Dr.Spaceman replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
We need him to hand in a transfer request, really. Just hope it doesn't encourage Aston Villa to pipe up, given they're intent on signing 86543 players this summer. -
Isn't that the point though? Just because someone is playing above their level it shouldn't invite personal abuse of any kind.

Never understood their fascination with geography. Growing up in the midlands I was surrounded by fans from all teams. Who honestly gives a shite about the reasons for why any individual supports any club?

Massively incestual lads fans?
