  1. Phil Parkinson is literally the ideal choice as well.
  2. I'm still sceptical. He see-saw's from woeful to handy too often. Will be interesting to see if he can be arsed to drag us out the shite when we're in the relegation zone come christmas.
  3. I always wonder how good he really could have been had he had the approach of someone like James Milner.
  4. Where's this from Ryder? It IS well known that Mata is one of the good guys.
  5. Can I suggest https://m.facebook.com/groups/212367828962899/?ref=group_header&view=group
  6. I can’t tell when people are doing the Houghton thing ironically or not any more I dunno what's worse, that or calling Willems 'Williams'
  7. Looked to me like one of those "See how much I care about this club" moments that was handed to him on a plate.
  8. What was unbelievable about it? Suarez' first touch was the highlight of that goal.
  9. He's up there as one of the greatest ever, no real weakness to his game, and that finish epitomises everything he's about. That precision and power on the turn is immense.
  10. They're more interested in what people think of them rather than the state of the club. Look at me, I'm mental me man. 5 down and I'm still singing like a pua loop. Go and tell your mates how mental we were.... Nail on head. Got to top those loyalty points up though so they can do it all again at Chelsea in a few weeks time. This craic is nearly as bad as that video like. This always happens at an away match and has done for years (do you ever go to away games) It is all about the day. Fair enough if you want to have a go at the people who go to home games but this has always been the case at away games for as long as I can remember. That’s not true, I’ve been amongst away fans that have turned very restless and angry in games like this. At other times, when it’s out of character (eg, under bobby, keegan, hughton) the crowd would be more quiet and disappointed. This here is a crowd with no expectations. Wigan away under Allardyce was quite toxic. Ideal, given how quiet the Wigan fans were that day as they allowed us to be quite explicit in our disgust I was at that game, "we're s*** and we're sick of it" was loud as f***, none of this pretending nothing is the matter like yesterday. 12 years on, and I bet a fair few there that day were also at Leicester on Sunday...clearly not sick enough to pack in. I dunno like, reckon the away support has changed since then. A shed load more coked up teens in the last few years for starters.

  12. People were massively jumping the gun asking for him the first team tbh. He won't have 'fallen' at all, he's just playing at a higher level than previous. PL2 is fucking light years away from the Premier League, no idea why anyone thought it was a good idea to stick him in an already struggling side.
  13. The lack of financial support is a secondary. It's the continuation of the negative media coverage that is going to see him off in the end. Even the trolls (Allardyce, Jordan, Souness etc) are helping to fuel the outrage. There is absolutely no way he hangs around if / when our local and national journalists properly turn on him. At the moment there is too many of them (unbelievably so) still sitting on the fence, even when we're staring down the barrell of a 3rd relegation in 12 years, having appointed yet another failed neverwas. As far as not attending and continuing to 'whinge' or whatever, we just need to keep doing exactly that. If we all switch off then he wins, in my opinion.
  14. They're as much a part of the problem as the home fans, if not worse. Everyone knows we have a great away following, them deciding not to go en masse would send a huge statement.
  15. Lloris' error was quite funny like.
  16. His career is over. Drink and drugs involved and he's nearly actually lost his leg.
  17. I don't think Rafa would've fancied ASM at all tbh. I said the same thing after watching youtube videos of him when we were looking to sign him. Rafa likes players who can stick to his methods and play for the team. For someone like Bruce or Pardew though ASM could be perfect. Neither of those two would have any idea how to build a functioning team, so a player with a bit of magic to win a game is a godsend. Don't follow that logic. They both had Ben Arfa but made him a scapegoat at earliest opportunity. (Could be character differences like). Rafa played Dirk Kuyt on the right wing. What makes anyone think he'd want an ASM type in his side is beyond me.
  18. It is. Stupid sheep motherfuckers continue to turn up.
  19. Nice little piece about the attendance being down.
