I would agree. By next February, he'll have been in the job 15 months and will have had three windows and a full preseason to implement his ideas. How much patience the fans will have depends on how well he's backed in the summer and how the team is performing. The players he has are better than 15th.

What's happening now is what could and maybe should have happened in previous seasons. He basically has had an extra 5/6 months for prep and will get a full preseason. I do think we've packed the league in entirely and will put all focus into the Europa League which we have a realistic chance of winning. Don't think us battling our way through 7 matches against the likes of Lazio, Bilbao and indeed Spurs is more likely than Newcastle winning a one off game against Liverpool though.
