  1. I'd say we're more likely to look towards Anderson, Baleba and Wharton and try and sign whoever City don't want.
  2. We've finished 7th, 4th, 5th, 6th, 2nd, 6th, 3rd, 2nd, 6th, 3rd, 8th, 15th () and are currently in 3rd. In that period we've won two FA Cups, two League Cups and the Europa League. Two more Europa League finals as well. Just think it's a bit silly to suggest that's a legacy club that nobody would want to join. But yes, also we aware we pay good money too.
  3. I think almost everything you said was untrue to be honest. You can't call us a legacy club when we've more trophies in our "banter" era than the vast majority of English clubs. You know enough about Bruno's character. Don't you think he'd see himself as a missing piece? Of course if a side like Barcelona or Real Madrid come in for him then we wouldn't have much chance.
  4. Champions League, Pulis style.
  5. This post is a bit detached from reality with all due respect. Why Man United man. Come on.
  6. If it helps, INEOS are never paying £100m+ for a 28 year old. I'm sure we're interested, and he might be too, but I can't see this happening.
  7. I would be there to comfort you.
  8. Of the 8 games in the round of 16, 3 were all ESL ties though. If it's rigged towards those teams surely that shouldn't happen? If it's geared towards ESL sides, why didn't PSG get Sporting instead of Chelsea? Why did Real and City get each other instead of Bodo/Glimt. Similarly last season why did City get Real in the first knock out round? PSG got Liverpool in the last 16 and Atletico got Real while teams like Dortmund got Lille and Villa got Brugge. Suggesting it's all rigged is the biggest load of rubbish.
  9. ESL dream, but what about ESL teams Atletico, Spurs, Chelsea, City?
  10. Good ones are like gold dust.
  11. I might be in the minority but I don't personally see it as humiliating when an elite side batters anyone. Barcelona at Camp Nou can put seven or eight past anyone. Bayern or PSG can do the same. It just... happens. Different if it was Sporting or Bodo/Glimt that had done it.
  12. Is that the left back Filipe Luis? Didn't even know he was a coach.
  13. Two of the most lopsided ties were PSG/Chelsea and Real/City. Spurs/Atletico also played each other. That's six "super league" clubs. What about the draw there is dodgy to you? Also how does the referee chose who to be biased towards in that case? Does he just look at the revenue beforehand and decide then?
  14. I wonder who's nose he's got there?
  15. Aye I suppose how it's put across. We definitely can't cherry pick players and never could. Even at the height of our success we were knocked back plenty.
  16. You think us signing Tonali is completely out of the question like? If we get CL football and you don't get Europe?
  17. Bournemouth 1-1 Man United Brighton 1-2 Liverpool Fulham 1-0 Burnley Everton 1-1 Chelsea Leeds 2-1 Brentford Newcastle 2-0 Sunderland Villa 2-0 West Ham Spurs 2-0 Forest
  18. Getting outplayed and winning goals via world class strikes cannot be considered a tactic surely?
  19. I see Chelsea's lineups are getting leaked...
