Not for me. Invisible against PSG and Newcastle in crucial games. Reckon Dembele is the man this year.

This is where it comes down to opinion, but I think Giggs had multiple seasons that were better than Bale in 12/13. Bale and Suarez were both incredible though so it's a fair argument either way. If longevity at an extremely high level is the bar, then Giggs goes in over Henry. Giggs was tearing teams apart as a teenage winger in the early 90's, and controlling games as a 39 year old central midfielder in the 2010's. His highest level isn't as high as Henry's though. Could be an interesting debate though and would be interesting to see how people's teams would differ.

It's not always bait son. That's just the truth. Ashley Cole's peak is higher than Irwin's, but did he perform at a high level for as long as Irwin? No. EDIT: (ignore this, Froggy's not well) Kyle Walker's peak is higher than Neville's, but did he perform at a high level for as long as Neville. No. etc. etc. You still put Ashley Cole in at left back in an all time XI, because his highest level was better than anyone else's in that position.

Ronaldo was literally the best player in the world while in the Premier League. Salah has been at a high level for a longer period, but never a higher level. It's just recency bias from someone not old enough to have seen the players talked about in their prime. If we're talking about sustained high levels, then the all time Premier League team would just be a Man United team plus Shearer.

If you can't make a game you just sell your ticket back to the club. That counts as season ticket attendance. The minimum attendance thing is so stop season ticket holders who aren't going from just sitting on their ticket and therefore affecting match attendance and revenue. The £66 tickets are only for tickets sold back to the club for resale. Where does his son sit? He's hardly buying a ticket for his son who then sits by himself? Unless neither of them have season tickets, in which case aye they're going to get shafted. There's also a couple of steward huts if he's arriving late, but can't say I've noticed much of a reduction outside the stadium and at turnstiles. Noticeably less in the stands though. Some of the cuts have been brutal, but I think a 5% increase after an 11 year freeze isn't unreasonable, and under 16's remained frozen.

Sounds fairly vanilla for Decky to be honest.

A million safety smileys.

We're actually in Europe though Django. Remember that.

I had a dream last night that the Champions League final next season was Man United vs. Newcastle. Didn't feel like a happy dream either so I think we lost.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season
Froggy replied to InspectorCoarse's topic in Football
Nobody thinks this way about Howe. You sure that wasn't just Liverpool fans yesterday after an upsetting defeat? -
Next one: "We were always up against it because of Salah and Konate fasting for Ramadan."
-
I'm in work 9 minutes and the first words I hear from a Liverpool fan are "it's only the league cup." Seething he is. Bet they all lapped up Carragher's words about it being bigger than the FA Cup and are now backtracking like fuck.
-
Liverpool were never winning that today with no Salah on the pitch.
-
You know what you were insinuating.
-
We had as many penalties as Socieded did. Just by far the better side over the two legs. We'd smash Frankfurt.
-
Very OK Mick. Hard to beat those European nights.
-
You OK Yorkie?
-
Beat them on their own turf last time around, and in a cup final before that.

I like that coming from you, the xG thing. Few have me on ignore though, and the ones that do can't resist having a peek.
