Got the One Show on in the background and they're talking about the new Mo Salah song as if it's Liverpool fans crossing racial boundaries It's a daft little pisstake song like any other daft little pisstake song, any other club and they'd be twisting on about how racist it is.

Think his best moment for us was winding the Stoke fans up at the Brit.

He got stick for backing off but him being absolutely awful on the ball was definitely the biggest criticism like. That's why the Benfica pass is legendary. The combination of him and Williamson was seen as a massive issue back then.

Roses are red Manchester is blue Actually it’s not It’s many colours as it’s a city but probably more grey/green/brown

Rafa definitely reads this board.

Not a good day to be a relentless Paully D hater like.

Every replacement at LB was noticeably awful other than 1 or 2 decent appearances by Manquillo accompanied by absolutely terrible ones.
-
I'll always remember his performance at Stamford Bridge when he almost fooled be into believing he was a young Phil Neville.
-
In the case of Pardew and his ilk i’m near 100% certain it’s because he himself would prefer a trip to the beach rather than spend more time in the pissing rain.
-
He was and is absolutely shocking on the ball. He might be better than Dummett, I wouldn't want to be the one to analyse like I completely get why people want Dummett replaced, I do too at some point, but he's the least of our worries at the minute and was absolutely sound last season.

People trying to claim bravery for posting a dissenting opinion on a message board now? Perez is not a good Premiership player, it's just odd to single him out when he's doing a decent enough job of what he's being told by the manager. We'll obviously get rid of him and most of the squad when/if we get taken over. It's not hard to grasp. If he starts playing shit (as in shit even for us) or stops doing what he's asked then he'll be dropped.

Because when you're paid millions of pounds to play football, not being scared on the ball is a pretty big thing. And actually, this is just absolute nonsense. Danny Simpson won the league ffs You want footballers to be good on the ball but it's by no means a requirement if they have other attributes which are effective. There's countless examples throughout football of players who lack in key areas but make up for it elsewhere and are an asset to their side. I'd say in our current state Paul Dummett is definitely an asset.

Because when you're paid millions of pounds to play football, not being scared on the ball is a pretty big thing. He's fine in games like Sunday against a big club where there's nothing expected of him other than to stop them playing. I watched him against Brighton however and it was alarming how poor he was feeding the ball to others. 0-0. A Paul Dummett special. There'll be a day in the next year or so when we sign a left-back who can defend and also doesn't s*** himself in possession and we'll be in awe. He can do the defensive attributes well but that's the easiest part of football. Being able to head a ball clear, tackle someone, block a cross...that's basic defending and you get that throughout the leagues. For the Premier League though you need so much more. Read the post man, I'm talking about people going completely overboard with criticism to the point where he was even being called a poor defender, that was said plenty last season and it was just odd. On the ball he's absolutely awful.
-
I’ve honestly never understood the stick he gets like (on the ball I do aye). He made a couple of mistakes last season and people were using it to score points in some odd claim he’s a bad defender. He’s always been solid and has never looked out of place defensively in this league.

Ofcourse we're desperate for a No 10. We're desperate for a whole new team.
-
An odd game to choose to criticise him in like, he played well and we generally play better with him in the side.
-
Great again. Madness how he's went from pretty much a joke to probably the first person on the team sheet Well along with Lascelles anyway.
