  1. Adidas do lots of official retro stuff for Arsenal and Man Utd, including period correct sponsors see this for instance https://www.adidas.co.uk/manchester-united-90-goalkeeper-jersey/HP0449.html
  2. You’re both right as it was the home kit for both of those seasons, the away kit changed from the maroon and blue hoops, to the denim look one
  3. A proper modern Adidas reinterpretation of the Grandad collar shirt, would make both the club and Adidas an absolute killing like
  4. I know some will consider this whataboutery too, but never mind Assange. Do many on here even have an inkling of doubt, about the official story of how Jeffrey Epstein managed to kill himself in prison. If so and you’re not as equally enraged about that, as you are Khassoghi, then you’re effectively angry that the Saudi's aren’t as slick at committing extra-judicial murder as the US ??‍♂️
  5. the way things are heading, post the repeal of Wade vs Roe I wouldn’t get too tight on the particular viewpoint
  6. Bit rich of the CIA to point the finger at anybody regarding extra-judicial murder too, no?
  7. The True Geordie should buy it off him, given he owes him his subsequent career (As diminished and tainted as it’s become recently)
  8. But what happens if they have a good year and qualify for Europe? Are they then in breach? Do they have to alter their squad?
  9. Did he not say in an interview a while back that he asked SBR to bring him to Newcastle when Bobby took over, but said he already had Gary Speed. Could just be because we are SBR's team in the same way Jose has always spoken well of the support, if not the team.
  10. I still fully expect to get beat on Saturday, but I’d suggest we'll know if we have improved if we can actually lay a glove on them. For all I didn’t think we played too badly at their place last year, we never really looked like hurting them. I have a strong hope that this time might be different.
  11. Fair enough I had it in my head it was him that replaced Chilwell yesterday, guess I got mixed up with James
  12. I mean they have Malo, Cucurella and Chilwell so it’s not like they’re short at left back, and as others have said Maatsen can play there too
  13. Have they not been playing him wide Left in preseason?
  14. I honestly have no idea any more, I mean Bayern have just paid over £100M for a guy with one year left, Likewise Caicedo going for that fee after a year of looking decent. Fee's are utterly nuts and Chelsea seem to manage to rinse everyone for their academy products ??‍♂️
  15. I think Hall would be ideal if we could get it done, the lad looks to be quality already and still has room to grow with the team. But I can’t see Chelsea letting him go and certainly not at that price.
  16. There’s no way they accept this, has he not just signed a new deal and did Chilwell not go off injured yesterday too!
  17. That wasn’t just Liverpool trying to be cute to slow the game down there was it? I thought it was anti-football and not something they’d ever stoop too ?
  18. Just the 9 goals for the lasses so far today ?
  19. Really hope the club include the online side of things, to at least provide decent write ups if not video highlights.
  20. Especially given it’s due to VAR taking forever to make decisions, why should the players be penalised for that?
  21. Watched 45 minutes of Maddison in a Spurs shirt and I think he joined the right club for him. He's picking up the mantle of England player who is snide as hell but gets away with it from the departed Kane
  22. Then why does every post read like Marvin the Paranoid Android on Ketamine? You’ve also been relentlessly negative regarding our transfer business
  23. Just had a quick browse at that thread on RAWK, they are so fucking entitled and oblivious to their own position. Complain about money ruining the game with no irony, literally a matter of hours after they bid over £100M for Caiceido. The poor little souls losing interest in the modern game, what about the generation of 70’s and 80’s kids who lived outside of Liverpool, who couldn’t watch televised football as their dominance made it so fucking boring. They played a big part in the back pass rule having to be introduced after all. Not to mention their part in the fact that English clubs couldn’t play in Europe for a decade due to their "peerless support". Seriously if not for Keegan making me fall in love with football in my early teens, I could possibly have never gotten into the sport. Man Utd's dominance in the 90’s without Keegan here, would’ve definitely see me throw myself fully into music instead.
