  1. Yeah you’ve been deliberately getting pumped every week, just for the shits and giggles
  2. Mate the only mentions around homosexuality in the bible are by Leviticus, hope you’ve not worn a garment of more than two threads or eaten any seafood as they’re also abominations. As others have said there's no mention of homosexuality by Christ himself. I mean it’s not as if anything might’ve also been lost in translation or deliberately altered in the changes from Aramaic, to Hebrew, to Latin and then to English either is there? 🤦🏻‍♂️
  3. Well then by that logic it wasn't Howe doing the negotiating last summer was it? So is Mitchell supposed to not work in conjunction with Howe now, according to the font of knowledge that is yourself?
  4. Obviously, I mean I presume you’re currently managing a team in one of Europe's top 5 leagues, that’s won a trophy this season and is currently sat in third. Otherwise it'd take a brass neck of epic proportions to make this kind of statement
  5. Depends on the result, if you give it 110% and still get beat, it’ll absolutely drain the legs
  6. Dembele should have put this game to bed about half a dozen times now mind
  7. Right now let’s get them into extra time and penalties, have them wrecked for the weekend
  8. Can’t imagine European refs allow him to use his Vurnon Anita booty to knock other players over, it’s his only actual skill
  9. Or maybe Eddie isn't in hospital and instead was on a clandestine trip to sign this guy up 🤔
  10. Was Hislop not a record fee for a keeper when we signed him? We never got the signing right, but it wasn't through lack of spending
  11. Its a hill I'm prepared to die on, but their 0-1 win against us that season was a more 1 sided game than the 5-0 the following year. And Schmiechel single handedly thwarted us that night. I always thought Keane was a whopper, but to hear him diminish the impact Schmeicel had on that team in recent years, cements him as an idiot In my mind.
  12. Did he not have to go on loan for some reason? Not played a high enough percentage of internationals or similar. But otherwise the general premise is spot on, just shows how fine a line between success and failure can be
  13. Might've appeared less of a hatchet piece if it had also taken a panel to discuss the scandal Standard Chartered has been embroiled in, or maybe the FSG links to US Arms firms too. But as it is it’s just nuance-less.
  14. They looked leggy against us to be fair, it’s just we had a Callum "I’m running in treacle today lads" Wilson up front, who couldn’t capitalise
  15. Obviously I want that too, all I’m saying is I want to see us actually compete in a final, which is something I’m yet to see this club do in my lifetime. So them even managing that would be progress in my eyes
  16. Just fucking turn up and give a good account of yourselves, if you’re beaten by the better team on the day so be it. But don’t meekly surrender HWTL 👏
  17. Not even sure it was that tbh, was more a case of once Man City threw their chequebook on the table we were fucked
  18. Aye and typically the format changes the year after, which would’ve meant we’d have made more money if we'd qualified this year instead of last. It’s just bad luck on the clubs part, overachieving CL qualification early IMO
  19. That was utter idiocy, spend some time mentalising how much you’ve let yourself and your teammates down with that petulance Anthony
  20. And as I’ve just said the fact that those 17 year old fans live in a North East, that looks like it does now is a direct result of things that happened in the early ‘80’s, therefore is it so wild for those resentments to still exist? Especially if like many from the area, their parents or grandparents that they still have daily contact with mention it frequently. God forbid that 17 year olds understand their local history and why they’re disadvantaged compared to others in the same country. The Nottingham bit rankles with me on another level too, my first job was as a lab technician for a Pharmaceutical subsidiary of BASF who had a plant in Cramlington. This was largely made possible by EU subsidy, but most of those in the good jobs were merely transplanted from their sister plant in Nottingham, with only entry level positions or plant work offered to locals, so they kept taking the piss even in the late 90’s
  21. Speak for yourself, I"m the son of a miner who was alive during it. And regardless if your were born or not at the time, if you’re from the North East you’ve lived through the direct consequences
  22. As someone who used to volunteer for Trailblazers https://www.trailblazersmentoring.org.uk and did a placement in Peterhead jail during my MH Nursing degree, I’d really have to suggest you refine your search criteria in AirBNB if they’re anything like a U.K. jail. Honestly wish people would actually volunteer to help in these places rather than take bollocks written in the Mail at face value, as jails are yet another thing that have seen insufficient public investment for the past several decades. They’re overcrowded, filthy and falling apart and lots of the education and rehabilitation is almost non-existent and often reliant an charities such as Trailblazers. Yet another case of being too tight to invest the relatively small amount in terms of staff, to try to prevent reoffending (or better yet stop offending before it starts with the youth outreach programs etc) but quite happy to pay the vast quantities to keep people locked up and stuck in cycles of repeat incarceration.
  23. Very true, I guess you’ve not seen what’s happening to any public official who has criticised Musk recently then. I guess the fact that the direction of travel in Saudi Arabia is towards being more open and progressive even if not at the speed lots would like, as opposed to the apparent "Leaders of the Free World" TM sleepwalking into an Authoritarian nightmare is why it shocks and annoys more
  24. Think Trump and his forces undertake extra-judicial murder on a daily basis, it’s just called a targeted drone strike or Special Ops mission. Heck our own SAS are currently under investigation for the brutal murder of civilians. How many journalists have Israel vaporised in the last 18 months? There’s not much I agree with Peter Hitchens on, but focussing on one specific type of murder whilst being oblivious or ambivalent to others is daft. (Was an interview at the time of the Syria gas attacks and the point he made was if you set that as your redline, you’ve effectively given every dictator free rein to murder their people as long as they stick to conventional weapons)
