I suspect after the Villa game where Burn was targeted - EH is being a little clever - Dyche will have set up all week to face a back 4 of Tripps, Schar, Botman and Burn - thinking to target Burn as a weak spot with balls into the channel and over the top to expose his "lack of manoeuvrability" - shock horror 1 hr before game time no Burn - I think it is brilliant.

If we are interested - this is why - he can play anywhere across the front 3 - from his interview (posted earlier) his preferred position is a No. 10. If we sign him I trust Eddie's judgement to get the very last ounce out of him and will support him and will expect to be pleasantly surprised by his work rate attitude and end product. However we still need a CDM and cover at RB IMHO.

From what was a paper thin squad - Eddie has worked a magic trick - I think we need a right back young and eager but apart from that I am struggling to see where we need to strengthen - obvs injuries will take us back into the pit but our guys are all performing. Anyone we sign would have to understand they would be on the bench and be slowly brought into the fold. It is a brilliant problem to have. I just love this team.
