8 for me - it is evident that they are still sticking to the original 3-5 year plan - Europe is a welcome addition but there could never have been lavish additions because of FFP - I think they will set out to enjoy the experience but will not be thinking hey we could shake the foundations here. It will be a case of do what we can and even take two steps backwards to go three forwards in the future - by which I mean they will not see finishing outside European places next year as a disaster. They will methodically add in the positions we need with younger players and I fully expect European football to be a regular occurrence in 3 years time. Slowly slowly catchee monkey and all that.

Considering all the high profile back room appointments and the rumoured transfer committee - it all seems a tad scattergun according to the press and media and for that reason I call bullshit on every reported monitoring/potential bid. If we are interested - this is why - he can play anywhere across the front 3 - from his interview (posted earlier) his preferred position is a No. 10. If we sign him I trust Eddie's judgement to get the very last ounce out of him and will support him and will expect to be pleasantly surprised by his work rate attitude and end product. However we still need a CDM and cover at RB IMHO.
