  1. OK get him on a shark based diet.
  2. I think Nick needs some fire in his belly and a few extra pounds of beef on his bones. He has good feet but is just not strong enough to make it count, yet. I think given time he can come good, and I hope it is with us.
  3. If I remember his interview correctly, he stated that he doesn't know why it is happenening and these things just occur randomly and it will "hopefully" right itself. That bit of info was a tad WTF. As the manager he should be able to identify what is going wrong and have a plan to correct it. Doesn't sound like he does - much as I hate to say it, because I think he is the best thing I have seen for NUFC in my 50 years of support, but his race may be run.
  4. My word I had forgotten how hard he leathered the ball.
  5. This is a good point - I believe that Isak was but the head of the snake and the most vocal; judging by the drop off it would appear that several other players are pining for pastures new. It will be up to the executives and manager to navigate, what I think will be, a pivotal summer.
  6. OK this end of the table is going to be very interesting. Certainly has taken my mind of the shambles today and looking at the remaining fixtures I really can't see Spurs surviving.
  7. At this rate they will be fielding the under 16's in the final game. Bloody hell.
  8. I agree but also think we have the tools to get a result against Stokenal we are their kryptonite (fingers crossed) 8 wins.
  9. Exactly this - our ultimate owners have almost infinite wealth yet I have seen no concrete evidence of legal/illegal frameworks, sports lawyers, multiple sponsorships, or anything which would move the PSR needle to a significant degree. So we are plodding along growing "organically" in a rigged league where the big boys make the rules. I would just like to see us rock the boat now and then rather than meekly accept our lot.
  10. So we'll beat Man City, then Sunderland, Liverpool and then Arsenal in the final - let's do this -
  11. January 2023 ‘EXCLUSIVE: Bruno Guimaraes has NOT suffered serious damage to his ankle after coming off injured in Newcastle’s win over Fulham… and will be sidelined for weeks rather than months Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes will be sidelined for a matter of weeks rather than months after a scan on his injured ankle revealed no serious damage. That could still mean he misses both legs of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Southampton – scheduled for January 24 and 31 – but Newcastle will know more in the coming days.’
  12. But isn't this the same PSV that rinsed the mighty Liverpool 4-1 at home. I think we need to say - well fucking done and well fucking played.
  13. As others have already said - Fuck. Get well you absolute legend.
  14. My opinion is that he is being drilled into a player who will have to react to several different triggers with different movement options attached to each (some against his natural instinct). This, with the transition to a new league will be a hell of a learning process. But I already love him and think he will be an immense player.
  15. Merry Christmas everyone and here’s to a fab 2026.
  16. It would be the single most unifying factor this country has seen in a generation. The benefits would be immense - I am praying that we win it.
  17. Not wishing to make excuses but I am convinced that the recent bouts of illness have affected performances - at this level any drop off is exposed ruthlessly. I suspect once the players are fully recovered performances will improve.
  18. Love a bit of Ted Lasso - and a very pertinent quote.
  19. Good question - the reality, I think, is we need 3 elevens of sufficient quality - we have 2 at the moment. So more revenue is required - because of PSR it will have to be gradual but a shiny new stadium and a cup this year would help.
  20. Just fantastic play - we've got the real deal.
