  1. Nah, you’re right, it was Konate I was thinking of but I misremembered as I couldn’t remember Konate driving forward with the ball that well in the past, totally rinsed Bruno
  2. Well sure, he got left for dead by Gravenberch was it? We all know he’s slow as fuck but he’s also extremely press resistant and helped us retain possession a bunch of times when other players would have likely lost it
  3. I’d definitely prefer to see Osula over Wilson
  4. Think he’s been very good today to be honest
  5. Sick of Maguire lying to the refs so much when he blatantly fucks up. You’re a carthorse lad, accept it

It’s not as simple as - “this one costs £800m more”. It includes potential for future revenue, potential for further expansion, more control over the whole area where the new stadium would be, future projections on costs for remedial work etc. There will be an enormous number of variables they’re looking at when making the decision. The PR associated with having a stadium built with their money and in the image they want is probably a big factor as well in the sportswashing stakes
  7. I put Botman as an ironclad B
  8. Feels like Villa are slipping out of it, one more bad result could do them in for good. I don’t think Fulham have a chance at top 5. I don’t think Brighton will make it. Man City will obviously make top 5 so it’s between Forest, Chelsea, us and Bournemouth I think
  9. Mateta seems like a top lad, love how much he enjoys his football
  10. This palace game is class, really open

    The Other 18

They’re such a proper nouveau riche club, no class
  12. ÂŁ624k per annum. Enormous money but this stuff always ends up being about context. Wonder what the average salary is in that league. A lot of people would kill for ÂŁ62.4k per annum
  13. here’s my summation: “If the fans dream big then the board dreams bigger, some fans will attest to that. If there were signs of what would happen with the investment then they were whispered away, hushed voices, darting eyes. This was a meeting that decides the course of the football club for the next century. Behind the drawn curtains there were familiar knowing glances and plentiful smiles. This was a meeting that decides so many meetings to come. Should we let ourselves dream? Maybe, just maybe we should let the dust settle and the those knowing smiles turn to knowing glances, even knowing words. For it’s clear that the day when the future is decided is drawing closer”
  14. Tino’s not remotely shite. He’s class. He’s had a poor season by his standards but he’s been very good defensively for the vast majority of games. He’s been poor going forwards. We know he is quality at driving with the ball and that’ll come back with the right balance on the right-hand side. His cross at the weekend was one of the best he’s delivered, needs to work on that area of his game a lot
  15. Hall is priceless, as is Isak
  16. I want to say C for Trippier but I think averaged out across a season he’s probably a D so it has to be D, especially given it’s only going in one direction
  17. Anderson got roughed up a little on the day, obviously got to him
  18. Meslier literally handing in a transfer request here
  19. He’s a lowlights reel every game

It’s an entitled view in my opinion. Of course we’d all love full details, we’d also like things to move as quickly as possible. However, they have no obligation to give us the full details nor to move things along as quickly as possible. I think you’re setting yourself up for disappointment if you’re hanging on this news dropping all the time. Just get on with your lives as usual and then react when the news actually comes out
  21. I watch a lot of football but you’re on another level @Paullow
