  1. There are no words to describe how good this lad is. Every single game he puts in an 8/10 or more

    Joelinton

Tremendous performance, up there with his very best. This version of Joelinton is the version that is Brazilian National Team starting standard. Just bulldozing people, some lovely touches, runs and then a fantastic finish. Doesn’t get better really
  3. Nothing is more baffling than fans who act like they’re absolute die hards who watch the match with a grimace all game, don’t make a sound other than to criticise the players. What do they think they’re contributing
  4. Great atmosphere, would have gone to another level if we’d managed to hold on
  5. Fantastic approach to this game, would have won if we weren’t shagged mentally and physically
  6. We could get a statue of Isak after he retires modelled on his performance tonight. Love him on the ball but off the ball we can’t play someone who’s not currently capable of running
  7. Great performance, barely put a foot wrong. Excellent touches, great movement and reading of the game. Such a quality player already
  8. Didn’t feel he was a let down, did some amazing defensive work. Sure, you want your wingers to be more clinical. The main issue is the lack of assists really but there’s still a place in the squad for him for a while to come
  9. The biggest bottlers in european football? Nah I realise Dortmund bottled the league last season but can’t see them losing tonight. They might draw but don’t think they’ll lose
  10. Might be worth trusting him given he knows exactly where Dubravka and Karius’s levels are at. It’s not like any of us know where Karius’s game is these days
  11. Shame that leao starts, let’s hope he’s not fully fit. As an aside, surely Reijnders should be getting prepped for official Christmas duties with Rudolph and the rest
  12. The way it’s worded it reads like we’re playing PSG, which is a TBG trademark. This is all on us, I don’t think we need to worry about what happens in the other game
  13. Does a lot for the confidence knowing that players aren’t going to be dead at 70 mins having to drop back and mount zero attacks. Having Isak to come off the bench is huge, let’s hope he goes full pelt when he comes on. Miley will come off for Longstaff at 60-70 mins you’d imagine
  14. Looks an absolute tank, is he a target man? Pacy? What kind of player, I’ll look at some highlights but interested if anyone’s watched him closely
  15. Wonder what this means for Ten Hag. Not getting any form of Europe, losing 0-3 to Bournemouth at home. Playing the worst style of football you can imagine. If he doesn’t get the chop soon it’s almost even a worse indictment of where they are, that they just accept this as who they are now
  16. Absolute ? opinion from Shearer

Will Still? Jesus, if they’ve sacked Tony Mowbray for Will Still fair play. That’s an incredible show of ambition if true but I find it hard to believe. Surely Will Still would have far better offers - either championship teams who have the financial backing to get promoted or lower PL clubs like Palace
  18. The closer this gets the more desperate I am for us to progress to the next round even if it causes problems for us later in the season with squad depletion

    Loris Karius

Needs backing to the hilt tomorrow
  20. There are very few keepers who are an upgrade on Pope, especially during January
  21. Feels like he’s going to be finished within the next year. Can’t think of many footballers who break down as much as him at that age and go on to have a proper career. He’s less reliable than Ledley King
  22. Bit much like, hardly Judas for having the temerity to go play football elsewhere on loan when Pope was first choice. It didn’t work out for him, we made some money. Whatever, he’s a good lad, just not at this level anymore
