  1. Did Barca sort out their finances in order to pay people their wages? What happened to Frenkie?
  2. Aye, most of his defensive contribution comes from absolutely pacing it back twenty yards and sticking a foot out to flick the ball back to us. It's amazing how delicate his touch is when he nabs the ball away given how he juggernauts his way back
  3. Messi’s two goals so far have been him at his top level
  4. Wor Flags at St. James’ Park has a nice ring to it, just need to increase the donations pot

Miggy would sell for a lot more than £25m right now I think
  6. I say that Botman will get his first goal (header from a corner) pretty much every game, it’s going to happen soon
  7. Surprised by the comments in here, they've been shambolic all season (mainly courtesy of Gerrard) and they sack their manager. They get a good result at home against an average side and next they come to one of the toughest away fixtures in the league, us. I don't know why people aren't more optimistic. Our press will absolutely destroy Tyrone Mings
  8. Someone needs to boot Mike Dean out of football, one of the most pathetic people involved in the sport. Made a bunch of games about him on the pitch and he’s still doing it, off it. Non-stop over officiating
  9. Fucking mental VAR decision making, who’s on VAR? This is a disgrace
  10. I know Twitter is absolutely rammed with idiots but the Villa fans seem to work especially hard to put themselves as imbeciles
  11. Be amazed if Bournemouth score from open here. Would bet on them to get the least goals from open play this season
  12. Bournemouth’s attacking play has to be the worst in the league, painful to watch them attempting to move the ball round
  13. Eh? I generally think far too many handballs are given but the problem with this one is that the ball can’t loop in that way if it hits his stomach which is where it’s going. Instead, it hits his arms and he also gestures them outwards which helps the ball to loop up
  14. There’s no way the ball can end up going in that direction without his hands forcing it that way. If it had hit his body it would have either gone straight forwards or down, not up. Absolutely terrible decision
  15. If he does go, you have to think that a decent part of it will be motivated by regret at a missed opportunity here. He clearly wants to succeed in the premier league and he’s probably not in line for a top four club. The kind of clubs he could have gone to would have been us or Leicester, and now West Ham or Villa but the best opportunity by a mile out of those was us. Hopefully he goes to Villa and takes some points off our rivals like Supertoon says
  16. Garth actually makes a very fair point about Lloris there. Out of the top clubs he’s far and away the king of gaffes in nets

I remember being on a family holiday in London at the time, can remember being in Islington as a kid and it’s stayed with me till now. Child murders and abuse never fades away, it’s the most despicable thing imaginable
  18. We will definitely be open to older players if they can get us into Europe this year. Our long-term future will focus on uncovering younger talents who develop with us but right now, if we felt we could get top 6 with a a 28-year old signing I'm sure we'd make it happen
  19. I may have missed this somewhere but did he pick up a knock or something that ruled him out of Spurs?
  20. It’s one of football’s great mysteries how this lad doesn’t get skinned for pace very often. I think Antony and Gordon managed it once each and someone got completely behind him yesterday but overall it’s amazing how little space people get down our left given the fact he’s not pacy
  21. Ando sounded like he was having a coronary live on air there
  22. Awful joke, 'that trans', fuck off man
  23. Bick sounds like a Tory monstrosity to me
