  1. I reckon we’re only a few games away from him laying his cards flat on the table and letting us know that from now on, West Brom will be doing it his way (synonymous with getting them relegated)

    Jacob Murphy

Whenever I see this thread bumped I click into it desperately hoping he’s been linked with a championship club, alas no
  3. Big Jow will sacrifice Paqueta in front of Bruno and eat his heart like in Indiana Jones and the temple of doom - red card with an additional three match ban for dangerous play

They could do a lot worse than Mowbray, he would be a good option for them
  5. Maupay looks like he’s been dosed up on some drugs in that vid
  6. Wonder what that means for Leicester doing business before the end of the season for themselves. Doesn’t leave them much time to find a replacement. They’ll probably have to massively overpay themselves
  7. Get a thread made pronto. 6’2 so he’s supporting our efforts to be a team of tall bastards
  8. I think we’ll see him start for us very soon, not tomorrow but maybe the game after. This is different from some of the other signings, we need him in the side. He’ll either oust Wood quickly or Howe may put him in on the right whilst still playing Wood for a game or two
  9. Howay Bondswell, spend another season out on loan and come back as a quality left wingback option. Hopefully he can get a season in as first choice for a decent championship team, do Stoke need a left back?
  10. They can’t say they haven’t backed Ten Hag if they go for Antony or Osimhen. If he can’t get them fighting for champions league football with those players (provided they sign) then it’s a failure really
  11. I’d say that Paqueta to West Ham is the most unexpected of those three by some distance. Can’t really get my head round he hasn’t gone to a bigger club / club with more potential
  12. Imagine they’re waiting for the official announcement of Alex Neil leaving Sunderland for maximum impact
  13. They’ve said it all along though that they are looking for a certain level of player. It’s clear our approach is to buy between the age of 22-24 where possible. Still, there must have been some RWs in that bracket we looked at and just didn’t think we could get it done, e.g. Diaby. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we get him at a later date, provided we continue to push on
  14. I agree that he messed up a bunch of chances but our best delivery is from Trippier, he’s just scored a quality header and I think we’re far more likely to have luck with Wood in the air over the ball at his feet
  15. We can win this, if Isak had come in earlier in the window I’d expect us to get at least a draw. With Wilson out it’ll be Wood starting but I was pleased to see him actually head a ball properly against Tranmere. We have to remember that Trippier and his amazing delivery wasn’t an option for Wood last season because of Tripps being out injured. I’d expect them to link up better now. There’s no hope of Wood linking well with through balls so we’ll have to work on lots of crosses into the box

Their opinion of themselves as a club is so out of step with how everyone else views them, it’s really odd
  17. Everyone has the same opinion on here, I’m sure it’s shared by the club and that this is down to Dubravka wanting game time and to play in Europe. Doesn’t mean we should take a shit offer, option to buy makes absolutely no sense

Disaster for them, they can never have nice things
  19. Not sounding great this, hopefully he’s back before Christmas
  20. I love Brighton’s commitment to reducing their goal threat to zero in pursuit of getting the record for the most number of draws in a PL season
  21. Big Jow’s his best mate now and that’s the bottom line
