  1. William Hill offering 9/2 for us to go down (not sure if those are the best odds going or not). Great value for anyone looking to soften the blow of relegation a little.
  2. Better today, I thought. Tackle at the end wasn't a yellow.

    Shola Ameobi

It was past a joke a long time ago. For fucks sake.
  4. Echo the above. Still holding out hope he'll stay.
  5. Would be very happy with that, but not going to get excited over an article in the Metro. Does cite the French press as a source, at least, rather than just speculating over Girard's quotes about wanting to manage in England.

    Alan Pardew

"Why the Newcastle United blueprint should be under the microscope, not Alan Pardew's position" http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/10396949.Why_the_Newcastle_United_blueprint_should_be_under_the_microscope__not_Alan_Pardew_s_position/ Sick of seeing bullshit like this in the media. Also sick of seeing some fans lap it up.
  8. First Carroll, now Spearing. Looks like Pardew will be given more of a role in transfer activity in the summer. If we stay up,maybe they'll have us 'attacking the top 10'.
  9. Girard to replace Wenger if he goes to PSG maybe?

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Think he's quite likely to leave even if we stay up, especially if Pardew remains in charge.

    Papiss Cissé

Wonder why Dortmund are in for him instead of Darren Bent.

    Alan Pardew

Lets leave Ryder in no doubt as to where we stand. He has a job to represent the fans irrespective of his clueless opinions.
  14. Even putting a caretaker in charge is at least doing something different - as it stands, the chance of getting another point is almost nil. The players clearly resent the manager and the most important thing we can do is kick him out ASAP. . Either he goes in the next 48 hours, or we go down.
  15. Why the inclusion of Beardsley? He's not in our coaching setup at the moment and by most accounts got our reserves playing decent football.
  16. As I said in the Pardew thread, I'm still hoping he'll be gone by tuesday morning. That's blind hope more than anything, because in reality Ashley is so unpredictable none of us can really know what comes next. This decision is certainly a litmus test for his ownership- as it stands we are going down imo, and Ashley will prove himself to be incompetent rather than (or as well as) unambitious if he doesn't take corrective action now.

    Alan Pardew

Against my better judgement, I'm still holding out hope he'll be gone by tuesday morning.
  18. Box to box midfielder. Pardew doesn't have a clue how to best utilise him.
  19. Loved it when Debuchy squared up to that cocky t***. Was disappointed with the lack of reaction from the crowd. Hopefully the idea that Ashley cares little about whats the fans think/do is correct, but he makes the right decision as a businessmen and as owner of the club anyway, even if only as a result of financial motivation.
