I thought the initial post was a joke... I can't believe there's people that actually advocate spending their money on someone to fly a plane, which will likely never be seen properly anyway. There's "banter" and there's absolutely s*** craic. It falls under the latter category, which is why mongoloids like the mackems and shints find that sort of stuff witty and funny.

Now I see why people used to find this irritating... I hadn't realised you could stop it. Off now I hope Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk So annoying, man. No.

Fake news. We played some very good football earlier this season with Anita at right back. They're both good options at this level and offer different thing. I'm not going to bleat on about we've looked better against this team and that team blah blah, but I don't see how anybody who's watched our games this season could disagree that Ritchie has been a far better player for us since Yedlin has been playing behind him instead of Anita.
-
Tbf, he was a very underwhelming signing and a lot of people were annoyed that it was pushing Armstrong further out the picture when this is a league he should have been given a bit of a chance in. The fact he's ex-Sunderland didn't work in his favour too. Very happy he's proving me and a lot of others wrong, he's been a very good option for us and as much as I like Mitro, Murphy carries the better goal threat.

We've looked a far better side with Yedlin in, and since him and Ritchie have started playing together, the latters form has massively improved due to having a real attacking outlet in there with some pace who can support and drag players away from him. I like Vurn and he's played steady for us at RB, but Yedlin is the better option for us.

In todays market the £5m fee (I think) we can get him for would be a steal. We need a squad when we go up too and Gouffran will likely be away.

I still reckon in terms of leadership and quality they are second only to us, so they will be fine. To beat them twice is great, but the manner in which we've done it is even more satisfying for me. They got an extremely fortunate penalty decision and from there we bossed them and were unlucky not to end the first half with a goal. Again I think they started the second half the strongest for the opening 5-10 minutes, but after that we sussed them again and dominated play. Our goal might have been extremely fortunate, but so was theirs and we'd played well enough to merit that luck and the win. I think these types of wins are perhaps more telling of the quality indicator than some of the results we've had against the likes of Blackburn, Bristol City etc. because in this league, teams are going to want to come to us and frustrate us by sitting back, where we sometimes can lack the real directness and quality to open them up and put our chances away. In the Premiership teams are more likely to attack us, and that suits Rafa's gameplan better, I feel he'll enjoy being the underdog more than the favourite in all these games if we go up. Also thinking about it the vast majority of the goals we've conceded in the last 5 games are the result of individual howlers (or ridiculous refereeing decisions, taking into account this game) and not collectively as a team. Obviously this means we need to make improvements in the summer due to a lack of quality, but it's very promising that - as a unit- the team are performing extremely well defensively, despite some disappointing results. We still have a lot of improvements to make in the squad department, but I'm sure Rafa will get the backing he wants and he already has a list drawn up of who he wants. Next season will be a rollercoaster, and it definitely won't be pretty, but I think we could possibly surprise a few people.

My mistake, I actually meant to say he has terrible judgement on when to come off his line. I probably said doesn't come off it when thinking about a moment in the game tonight which was almost potentially a carbon copy of the mix-up between him and Dummett in our last game. Obviously in that scenario he came way too far off his line and was caught out, on this scenario he needed to come off his line and it was an easy claim but he didn't do it as he's clearly still shitting himself. This in turn, I'd imagine, makes the defence nervous. We really need a more assertive and experienced goalkeeper.

Any sane man would mate. I consider myself sane and I don't want to mate with him, even if he has got loads of lowie.
-
Fantastic shot stopper, but he can't do fuck all else. He doesn't come off his line, command his area or organise the defence anywhere near well enough and he's more capable of dropping a clanger than Heurelho Gomes. I genuinely sometimes think he's worried about messing up his hair, he's constantly fucking faffing with it, seen him do it twice when Brighton were about to take corners.
-
He really grafted and put himself about when he came on. Very good cameo all-round and a brilliant way to top it off.
-
Haaaaaa ya fuckin' paella nonce
-
I absolutely despise Colback but I thought he had a decent game today, not even just by his normal standards. He played well.
-
Totally changed the game when he came on. Maybe should have been on earlier but thankfully we don't need to dwell on it.

Clip anywhere at all ?

Can only see a 2-1 loss or a 2-2 draw. They look miles better than us but we do seem to perform better on the road.
-
As much as I like Mitro, it's starting to get frustrating to see him missing chance after chance, stuff that even last season I think he could have put away. He's short on confidence and he isn't the standard we need right now, if we get up for next season. Rafa clearly doesn't trust him either so the signs just don't look good for him being able to progress his career over here.
-
Worst player on the pitch for us despite his goal.
-
Don't see how Atsu isn't starting, he looks dangerous all the time whereas Gouffran offers fuck all bar running round like a headless chicken. Also didn't realise Ruddy was back in goal for Everton, I thought McGovern was their first choice? Most likely dropped as if he was in goal we would have won at least 4-2 today. He's fucking atrocious, like.
-
His team conceded 29 goals in the 11 games he had in charge, he was an absolute sham and he didn't deserve the chance he got based on his performance in lesser leagues - he got it because Swansea's American owners wanted an American manager .
-
With Norwich's goalkeeper I'm pretty confident we can beat them if we simply just shoot from distance and let Gayle close down the inevitable parry, he's worse than Sels!
-
There isn't really a clear cut "right or wrong" decision on that tbf, both sides can be argued within the laws. It's hardly Steve Martin/Bobby Madley levels of shite.

Ah whey, that explains the composure then.
