Club Brugge vs Newcastle United - 08/11/12 @ 6pm GMT (Live on ESPN)

Like the look of that, but with Bigi instead of Abeid. -
Thought he did very well in tricky circumstances, always looks to have a go, which is very encouraging. Worried when i saw he was marking Agger on corners but looked to cope pretty well with that too.

Pardew says Colo says there was no intent but due to the way it looks on replay there's no point appealing. Ridiculous red for me, clearly wanted to make sure if he missed the ball the player didn't get away from him but to suggest he's gone in to do him is nonsense IMO. Ironic it's clearly the linesmans reaction that has made it a red, while from an almost identical position against the mackems the lino didn't even flag for a foul but the red for Tiote came out anyway - we're getting shafted on all fronts at the moment.
-
Christ almighty Bent injured? Bent didn't travel apparently. Can't understand why they're not playing Rose, looked their only decent player against us.

Its called a Blob fish. Thats f***ing class mind  Brendan Blobfish - I love it.

It would make sense. I reckon MON is a last desperate throw of the dice, once that inevitably goes tits up I don't think there'll be any more subsidies for them, and if they have to be self-sufficient on their income and with that wage bill, throw a large debt in and it could be genuine meltdown time....
-
Only thing really in question is whether we lose 2-0 or 3-0.
-
I know man, dunno what possessed me to watch it. Gonna go and gouge my eyes a bit before the second half starts. It's fucking horrific. The midfield "battle" resembles a bunch of dogs chasing a balloon.
-
Obertan - Bigi - Tiote - Sammy Shola - Cisse As the front 6 I reckon. Possibly Anita at RB. Looks decent.
-
At home, against your local rivals, with your strongest team playing and the opposition down to 10 men for nearly 70 minutes = 1 shot on target. I was genuinely surprised by how shite they were.
-
Never a red. Not in a million years.
-
Probably watching videos of mackems torturing puppies and eating a big raw steak.
-
This really is huge for the mackems - their dream manager in charge, a decent striker scoring goals, the much vaunted Adam Johnson and "better than Ben Arfa" Sessegnon in the side. If we walk in and casually take the 3 points again I'll almost feel sorry for them. Almost.

Could be off to the ACON with Nigeria: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19950213?

Surprised no Nani - presume it'll be Kagawa and Welbeck wide?

It could actually be argued that Sports Direct's business model is far more reprehensible than that of Wonga, involving exploitation of workers in chronic poverty but that doesn't stop people loading up on their cheap tracky b's. Any connection between morality and football was broken some time ago, Wonga's dubious practices are just a little more transparent than some - take for example the Middle Eastern companies who are flooding stupid amounts of cash into the game these days - some of the human rights they trample on a daily basis are almost beyond belief.

Torres is my Captain today, hope he gets a couple more second half...

stats said 8 - 6 on target, but i can't remember anywhere near that
-
don't think Hernandez will start - reckon they'll go for RVP up top with Rooney in behind, they won't want to get outnumbered in midfield with Tiote and Cabaye in there.
-
Finally dropped Cisse, so we can expect his scoring drought to end this weekend. Bad news is I've replaced him with Ba...
-
Just when you think Ashley Cole couldn't possibly be any more of a c***.
-
Absolutely - his very presence transforms the centre of our midfield - there were a couple of occasions last night where you could tell the opposition midfielders just didn't want to go near him, he must be an absolute nightmare to play against.
