Absolutely agree. Like him as a person and he has a good attitude but an expericed PL striker really has to hit the target at least. I think the worst thing is we know that miss wasn't just a one off, he would miss in that situation regularly. Good luck to him and hope does well there to make his move permanent for him and us. We need more consistency here, especially considering how teams will be looking to park the bus against us.

Yeah exactly what I think, don't see us bringing in another striker who is like Isak and Wilson at getting in behind. Can't see an unproven youngster just yet either as will be to much pressure if Isak and Wilson get injured. I wouldn't be surprised to see a big, strong hold up striker who's good in the air. Yeah Targett was fantastic last season, stopped so many wingers dead on with a block tackle. Just feel our defence has more of a solid all round presense with Burn at LB though.

Yeah that's pretty shitty. He's never really hit it off here even under Bruce, Ritchie has been a good servant and was fantastic in the championship. It certainly won't be long before both of them leave now though.

Did Eddie fall out with Fraser at Bournemouth? Firstly Howe doesn't seem the type to fall out with a player longer than a training session and secondly, "wee man" even though he hasn't featured has seemed to be quite happy being part of our squad, and Eddie seems happy to have him too. I'm sure I've seen an interview where Howe says anything that happened at Bournemouth was sorted out not long afterwards. Just never seen what actually happened.

I haven't seen a lot of Chelsea but when he came on against Fulham he was an instant improvement. I think he would do really well here.

Sounds strange but I kind of forgot how good he was. Been so long since we've seen him for longer than 15/20 minutes and how he instantly attracts 2 of the opposition defenders, yet still finds space, a pass or a shot is pretty impressive. Every team doubles up on him now and you would be mad not to tbh. I think that's why he goes to the floor a lot as he gets frustrated being doubled up on and expects its a foul every time. He'll always have that ability to beat a man and cut inside which is exciting to watch, and the most important thing is that he creates space for others due to the doubling up. I think that's the compromise with his lack of defending. Unfortunately you just can't get both.

The fact that he thought he could run it off makes me hope it's not severe. Obviously Bruno being Bruno would always try play on but if it was really really bad surely he wouldn't even be able to walk after that. You know instantly when it's a bad one and I think if he felt he could run it off then fingers crossed its only a few weeks out.
