The takeover was always going to happen one way or another. Even if it meant making a court decide. Edward said they walked away for good and would not be returning. He also said a nice man called Henry Maurice was about to buy the club. Honestly, he's the absolute worst Newcastle reporter there is and constantly winds up the fans offering nothing but his poor opinion and fake rumours.

Edwards is an absolute wanker and if you read his twitter posts during the takeover saga you'll know exactly why. He knows fuck all and is desperate to be an ITK now his pal Bruce has been told to fuck off, even though he was telling everyone the takeover isn't happening. (unless your name is Henry Maurice)

Just been catching up on some posts and wanted to add about the Wi-Fi signal. Unfortunately living so far away I've only been to St.James once (well twice but only seen 1 game) and I was pretty shocked how bad the wi-fi/phone signal was when I was there. Even after the game outside the stadium I was having problems and I genuinely thought 02 had gone down for a few hours. I wanted to check the scores at half time and have a 5 minute scroll through twitter to see any incidents of the game and thoughts on how it was etc. This is perfectly normal and I can't see it effecting the atmosphere during the game. The stuff to do with updating your Instagram and YouTube etc is valid but people would still do that anyway as it only uses the phone camera. Uploading can take place when the phone is in your pocket and if not they'll just wait until after the game. Personally the only time I would use the Internet signal is half time and when I went I still had my phone out taking a few pictures and videos, and that was because it was a rare occurance for me. I just think that considering 99.9% of people in that stadium own a phone, it really should offer full signal and Wi-Fi. Turning the signal on just at half time is a very good idea although I don't know if that would cause connection issues given the mass amount of connections at once.

Trying to get the green light for a big signing. Making sure the wheels don't come off our season. Releasing the brakes and trying to get one over the line. Bet they're tired.

I agree, my post was to a reply that implied we have miggy closing down so we don't need Gordan. I was just pointing out that the more players we have who can hold an intense press for long periods will make us even stronger at winning the ball back. This is why Howe likes Murphy so much and I feel Gordan is an upgrade on Murphy so signing him would definitely make our squad and options stronger.

Miggy running around like a madman on the right flank chasing people for blood with Gordon on the left flank doing the same would make us an even more incredibly difficult team to play against.

If he does this on a regular basis he'll win a lot of people over.

Completely agree, Maddison would be an incredible signing and obviously my preferred choice over a lot of the players we've been linked with. I'm just saying Gordan, although I was really against it first, may be an astute signing and slot nicely into our team and philosophy.

Look at how Eddie has transformed players like Joelinton. Gordon will absolutely be a better player here than working under Lampard. Ive never liked Gordon but as a famous man once said.. "judge me after 10 games" But seriously, I'm actually imagining him in our team and I have a feeling it would work well.

Would be a really really poor decision to not bring in another forward player. We're pushing so hard for Champions League qualification and have done so well this season. Injuries to Wilson or Isak for 3 or 4 weeks with the busy schedule could ruin everything. It's clear PIF are willing to invest and I'm sure we have room even with FFP. It would be odd to hold until the summer when we're literally at that point now. Personally I think we are speaking to a few players and I think we will bring at least a forward and a midfielder in.

We could have won 3-0 tonight if Wilson, Isak and Maxi buried their chances. That's the fine margins in this league. Not really much more Eddie could have done imo. We dominated possession away from home, pushed them high and kept their creative players very quiet. Just wasn't our day in front of goal. Still solid at the back though.

Watching Coventry v Norwich and the last 3 songs by the Norwich fans have been their own versions of Bruno in the middle, miggy song and eieieio Winning 2 - 0 so the songs definitely work.
