  1. I've only seen him answer the question twice, first he said spring and tonight he said March so the same thing obviously. Watched all of the show tonight and Keith says the Bein ban in KSA is the next big news we need. Hopefully coming in the next few days. If it does then he feels it can help a deal be done without the need for arbitration. If not then when it goes to arbitration, he's next in line after that with his legal case. That's where we're at. I asked a question about De Marco's twitter pictures which they asked Keith about, he basically said it's intentional and that De Marco knows what he's doing (with regards to the fans reactions to the pictures) Also said that Jones was the recommendation of Carr.
  2. Absurd the amount of times we don't play it back to the throw in taker. He's a free man and a simple 1/2 helps keep the ball. Sunday league stuff and we don't do it anywhere near enough.
  3. Matt Ritchie. Was quite a bad tackle, but you see worse most games. Just the fact he got injured amplified it. Think him and Bruce had a few handbags via the media after too. Choudhury made a comment about Bruce as a player iirc
  4. I don’t think you’re far off the mark mate. Time will tell, we should know one way or another by the end of next month. Need it to be clarified either way so everyone can move on. Yep it's certainly keeping me busy and giving me something to do. Quite enjoy looking through all the rumours, speculation and possible leaks and trying to piece bits together. Much more enjoyable than than actual football at the minute obviously.
  5. Also how's this for some positivity - Staveley said arbitration timeline of completed end of feb If they want to get a deal done without arbitration, then that would be quicker (2/3 weeks?) Everyone waiting for the bein ban in KSA to be lifted, before all being happy with the situation. This is also why Ashley isn't sacking Bruce, he knows it'll be done in 2/3 weeks maximum then the new owners can deal with the problem. New owners have updated Rafa on the situation who recently said "he'll wait for the right club in the PL"
  6. What's supposed to have happened, like? I've read that he said "you're a shit manager with shit tactics" Hasn't been seen since. No idea if true though.
  7. Now, now a look through his timeline does not suggest any reason why he would even be remotely interested in our takeover. I’m inclined to believe he is genuine, whether everything he hears is entirely accurate is another matter. Follows Jamie reuben on twitter but no one else remotely Newcastle or takeover related. Just a shit load of MP's and political people. Not your average wum.
  8. Possibly, but the best to avoid arbitration is an interesting comment. It's been said a few times now that things are going amicably and avoiding court would make things quicker and better for everyone. (even though I'm convinced we would win anyway)
  9. I'd say Brighton win, the further Fulham fall away from 17th the better. We're not winning so we need them to not either
  10. Adds up with what others gave said, including Jacobs.
  11. Obviously gone if we go down. Will be a knife to the heart.
  12. Palace game is game of the season. They have a bad run and look terrible. If we can win and get close to them in points then it's a shit-off to avoid 18th.
  13. What was he moaning at schar for? Shelvey put himself at left back when we were trying to play out! And nice try on the free kick from 30 yards out

    Jeff Hendrick

Please get sent off to avoid further team selection. Thanks x
  15. He'll be watching tonight in sheer disbelief at what Bruce has done to these players
  16. We need the news to come out of KSA from the GAC about Bein being allowed to broadcast again. Reading between the lines, if that happens then eventually a deal can be done without arbitration as that would likely drop all the legal cases like the WTO report etc and stop the piracy issues. Bein Jacobs said it could come at some point this week, he's also surprisingly positive about it happening. If it does then its definitely good news for us, if not, then I guess we start firing from the tanks what ever the fuck that means
  17. Let me guess Harry said he's a great bloke who didn't deserve it, and Jamie just repeated it as he doesn't know what else to say?
  18. I actually signed up to the F365 forum in desperation but I never received my confirmation link
  19. To be fair though I've seen the Brentford manager Thomas Frank mentioned on here a few times. I think from what I've seen and heard about from my mate who's a Brentford fan, he's a good manager. Looking at his career, he's only been a professional manager since 2013, never had a top playing career. Was assistant at Brentford for 2 years before getting the top job. Won just 1 of his first 10 before turning it around. They now play nice football and again are battling it out at the top of the Championship. People like Bruce, Hughes etc have the experience of being a top player but means absolutely sod all when it comes to management. There's no reason to say that if Jones ended up as our manager it would go wrong, on paper he's under qualified, but honestly I think he would play better football than Bruce and would have every chance of getting better results.
  20. I do feel for Gayle, Bruce saying about needing ASM and Fraser back on the pitch for more goals and Gayle has hardly had a look in. Would like to see him and Wilson upfront actually and also think ASM would be able to create chances for both of them.
  21. Agree entirely. That was put much better than I was trying to explain in my essay. But he’s about to pay a 6 figure compensation fee to Bournemouth for an extra coach so surely your logic is wrong ? But any manager would want at least a 2 year deal, that would be costly to pay off and definitely more than what the new coach costs. Maybe he's had a discussion with the consortium, and all have agreed that the new coach will keep his job, but they will bring in a new manager in a few weeks once the takeover is completed. I just think there is no way that even Ashley would bring in a new manager now if the takeover is close, it just doesn't make any sense. If the takeover is off or months away, then it makes sense as he needs to do something to avoid relegation and protect the sale (if its still on in the distant future) I just put myself in his shoes tbh, and my decision would be keep Bruce for a few weeks until I'm gone. Let the new owners sort it out.
  22. My twisted opinion is why would Ashley appoint a new manager if the takeover is close? The new manager would need a contract that would need to be paid off by the new owners. Sacking someone who has been in the job a few weeks would not look good. If the takeover was over/long way off, then I think Ashley would bring in a new manager to help protect the club from relegation. As it is, I think he knows its only a few weeks away then it's not his problem anymore, so he's just putting a plaster over the wound and not stitching it.
  23. I think it's more to do with this "Given any exit for Bruce would run up a seven-figure bill and bringing in a new manager would require further funding, Ashley is reluctant to shake things up at the moment especially with the club losing millions in lost gate money and match day revenue." I really can't see it still going on in April/May. It'll either be done or dead by then imo.
