Our striker list has to end up back at Callum Wilson soon.

In the stand, 'Isak 14' shirt on, necking a pint in one.

Not a player, but just seen Graeme Jones and his missus walking along Tynemouth front street at dinnertime.

Seen things saying Ramsey was the Longstaff replacement, but I would have thought he was more like Willocks role? Surely Miley getting more opportunity this season replaces Longstaff?

Thats the argument being used by e-scousers and their media shills.... '£110m was a record breaking fee'. Maybe, but its still less than he is worth, based not just on Newcastle's alleged valuation (remember, £150m never confirmed by NUFC, just what the media thinks we want), but looking at other transfers this summer and recent summers. Midfielders are going for £100m +. Isak is arguably one of the best strikers in the PL and Europe, coming off the back of two 20+ goal seasons. So why should we accept less than Liverpool have just paid for a German midfielder, unproven in the PL, just because he's kicked up a fuss to force a move to a PL rival?

Honestly, as churlish and/or unrealistic it may sound, even if we managed to sign two new strikers, I'd keep him for (at least) another year, out of pure spite. We give in and sell him to them, it sets a very dangerous precedent for how to force a move, without even having the balls to put in a transfer request. If we cannot find another buyer outside the PL, then keep him till next summer.

Sorry like, but I couldn't care less how the media try and dress it up, players looking would surely see we weren't 'holding him hostage'. He has 3 years left of a 6 year contract, and the only offer so far is far below his valuation, based on other recent transfers in the Premier League, and even at the club trying to get him on the cheap. No way can or should it be seen as holding him hostage because we won't just sell him to the only club bidding, for a lower fee.

Think we'll end up keeping Ramsdale and Pope will be away next summer. A young keeper (Trafford?) in as understudy to takeover from Ramsdale. Said it even before the Donnarumma links, Trafford to Man City always seemed like a PSR flip to me.

Hmmm, will wait and see, but not sure how much I'd trust that account after a tweet yesterday.

This is flying back to NCL today.
