I agree that it's worrying from a "Rafa being pissed off" perspective, but it's highly unlikely that it's a contract breach. Rafa was announced in the summer as having control over all football matters. That would never ever include decisions on what budgets are though. Obviously it depends on what happened, but if it's simply that Ashley / Charnley has told him that there was no money... then I can't see how that could be a contract breach. If they actually made decisions about not signing certain players above his head, that would be, of course. Not sure how you can state it isn't when you have no idea what his contract states but carry on.

He looked jaded last night not surprising given the amount of games he's played and the lack of rotation he's had given how weak we are in midfield. Also it isn't surprising your players are being inconsistent and not showing huge leadership they need time to develop these skills.

I agree with you regarding he wasn't as bad as he's been made out but I thought Ayoze had the better chance as he had the ball under full control one on one on his stronger foot, where as Gouffran had to take it first time on his weaker foot with the ball coming across him.

He's not like, he's spent a fortune. I know, £30m profit... We also sold all our best players who everyone relentlessly critiqued and replaced them whilst yielding the profit you mention. I really don't understand this place sometimes.

We were doing well at that point though, Atsu has played and contributed but so has Gouffran. Let's be honest with ourselves whenever someone has a bad game he's absolutely destroyed on here and the player that isn't playing is automatically elevated.

We have our first class manager in years and he's working with one hand tied behind his back. He's not going to change system or his philosophy as unlike previous clowns it's actually brought him success at the highest level of game giving him a reason to believe what he's doing is actually right.
