  1. I agree that it's worrying from a "Rafa being pissed off" perspective, but it's highly unlikely that it's a contract breach. Rafa was announced in the summer as having control over all football matters. That would never ever include decisions on what budgets are though. Obviously it depends on what happened, but if it's simply that Ashley / Charnley has told him that there was no money... then I can't see how that could be a contract breach. If they actually made decisions about not signing certain players above his head, that would be, of course. Not sure how you can state it isn't when you have no idea what his contract states but carry on.
  2. Kaka who are your favourite players?

He looked jaded last night not surprising given the amount of games he's played and the lack of rotation he's had given how weak we are in midfield. Also it isn't surprising your players are being inconsistent and not showing huge leadership they need time to develop these skills.
  4. Yeah, that is very worrying. He told the club what he needed and he was not backed. It is indeed; he's totally deflated and as poot called out all his positivity has disappeared.
  5. I find it hard to believe that Rafa would have agreed to stay on if his budget was -30 million. I remember a lot of talk in the summer about budgets set for the next 3 windows and such.
  6. Unpopular I know but he wanted to keep Townsend Sissoko and Gini fwiw.
  7. Given Ashley's ownership I guess it was just too good to be true.

Got an assist and should have had another after a poor finish from Ayoze, wasn't great by and stretch but also wasn't as bad as some think imho
  9. Tin hat time but it's funny how things have developed since Pardew has become available.
  10. Our players are definitely lacking mentally I don't think they handle pressure well at all. At times our fans don't help either mind.
  11. No attempt to display a united front is quite telling imo.

Did he do anything of note tonight? Sub appearance with limited time I understand but didn't see much personally?
  13. Yup I think the whole squad needed the boost a couple of recruits would have brought but of course we've decided to not bother as usual.
  14. So the answer is change your philosophy and start from scratch because a few people on NO feel it isn't working? Personally I'm not sure we have the players to implement any system particularly well, certainly not at a level which this forum seems to expect. No, no need to start from scratch, but just do something different. He could certainly be more attacking. We can't defend atm, why not go all out attack? To protect our less than stellar defence and to control the game. I understand the sentiment but it seems based on emotion not pragmatism, what managers tear up the way they do things based on a tricky patch?
  15. I agree with you regarding he wasn't as bad as he's been made out but I thought Ayoze had the better chance as he had the ball under full control one on one on his stronger foot, where as Gouffran had to take it first time on his weaker foot with the ball coming across him.

  17. He's not like, he's spent a fortune. I know, £30m profit... We also sold all our best players who everyone relentlessly critiqued and replaced them whilst yielding the profit you mention. I really don't understand this place sometimes.
  18. We were doing well at that point though, Atsu has played and contributed but so has Gouffran. Let's be honest with ourselves whenever someone has a bad game he's absolutely destroyed on here and the player that isn't playing is automatically elevated.
  19. We have our first class manager in years and he's working with one hand tied behind his back. He's not going to change system or his philosophy as unlike previous clowns it's actually brought him success at the highest level of game giving him a reason to believe what he's doing is actually right.
  20. Who's picking him? The person who has to choose between him and Sammy Aneobi when he really wanted Townsend.
  21. Did we bollocks. Didn't see all the chances we wasted then? Let's not kid ourselves QPR offered anything it was self sabotage in the first half.
