At least we're all admitting this lad is awful, rather than putting all the blame on the coaches as we very often do.

I'd love a simple striped kit. No silly patterns, just stripes.

Pellegrini should go, surprised they haven't already brought in an elite manager by now. Not all his fault though, how often have City players just not given a s*** since they got rich?
-
He's a nice bloke, but isn't he just a fancy Pardew? A cup final (at least he won it tbf) and a 5th place finish are by far his best achievements. Other than that he had some decent spells in the Football League and some massively overrated spells in the PL with Wigan.

There are a lot of people who try to portray Sherwood as some bumbling idiot when his record certainly isn't bad. Obviously he's still relatively inexperienced, but the general opinion seems to be that he's rubbish. Without wanting to sound a bit UKIP, this is entirely because he's an unfashionable Englishman imo. I'd say he's been mostly decent so far.

Now that Harry's gone, I can have no problem supporting QPR at the weekend. Would be lovely to see Sunderland, Villa and Everton dragged back into it.

An absolutely pathetic 'footballer'. I get genuinely angry when people suggest he should be playing games.
-
Such a strange signing considering he wasn't great in France and we hate spending money. Useless.
-
Standard Arsenal but this is always going to happen until they buy good defenders and strikers.

If we were 5 points worse off, I'd be bricking it. -
Vurnon Anita (now playing for RKC Waalwijk)

He's never shown anything at Newcastle to suggest he's a good player. Some people literally only rate him because he played for Ajax... -
Would be great if neither of these teams ever won another European Cup.
-
I think the fact he's not Paul Lambert will be enough to keep them up. Not sure how well he'll do long term though.

This is how stats should be. It's not like the game completely changed in 1992.

Boro top of the league. Karanka's gonna be a star!
-
Well we know why we got him for such a small fee then...
-
VERY happy with the scorelines right now.
-
Could see it happening, bet Brentford sack him if they don't go up. If they do go up they'll probably sack him at the first hint of trouble.
-
The lad's definitely got a lot of talent. Convinced he'd flourish under new coaches.
-
He's one of the worst players we've had and it genuinely infuriates me that he's into his 4th season here. The fact he was able to pick out a teammate under no pressure in the build up to the goal doesn't change this.

Newcastle United FC v Stoke City FC 14:05 8th February 2015

This fixture makes me sad. Won it 5-1 last boxing day to go joint 4th and only 6 points off the top. If only we had have strengthened slightly in January rather than weakening the squad... -
Souness has got to be the worst manager ever to win over 10 major trophies. Worst by miles.

Could definitely see some struggling, tinpot PL club giving him a job post-Palace. He's one the luckiest people in football to have been in the Premier League so long. Happened to be the up and coming young manager when the West Ham job was free (arguably the best Championship vacancy of the last decade or so). He inevitably got them promoted and had one good season before it went wrong. Then he gets the Charlton job, messes that up and it should have been the end of his PL career until Ashley decides otherwise. It could easily have been any Championship/League 1 non-entity loving life in the Premier League while he's stuck at Millwall.

I'd have McClaren, I'd certainly be surprised if we have a better head coach this time next year. I wouldn't say the favourites (Garde, de Boer) are exactly streets ahead of him.
