  1. To think we produced Beardsley, Gazza and Waddle within the same decade and sold them all. For fuck sake. This club really has been ran like an absolute basket case for the vast majority of it's existence. Sickening.

    Overrated players

One of my old housemates from uni is a massive Chelsea fan and would be spitting feathers if he read this. Says because of the way they're run under Boehly he's the last player he's had genuine affection for. Got MOTM in the Europa League final against Arsenal in his final game didn't he? Plus scored in many a title race game which Chelsea went on to win. Far, far too early to say he's one or the other.
  3. Get better players than the ones we've got. Whilst simplistic that's what it boils down to. Talking about the current team, we need more regular output from our wide players, probably a better GK than Pope (with the ball at his feet particularly) and we need another Bruno/Tonali level midfielder imo. Unsure if Ramsey could be that and I don't think Joelinton is technically good enough to be in a side that gets you 80-95 points which is what you need to be reaching to challenge. Plus with added PSR we basically can't miss in the transfer market. Lastly, we need to be much better away from home. Especially at the top sides. Out of the teams that finished between 1st and 13th last season, we beat only 1 of them away from home: Forest. We were poor away from home in 2023-24 as well but we were particularly dreadful away at the big 6 sides that season. To challenge for the league you need to go into those games believing you can win them and I don't think we do as a club. It's partly mentality too but you ultimately get there by doing what the first sentence of this post says.
  4. Been a full calendar year I believe since they last won a game at home on a weekend. Needs to be 3 points, this.
  5. From the club’s website; Members of the armed forces will lay wreaths in the centre circle before uniting with players, staff, officials and fans to observe a minute's silence. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to join the period of silence, during which The Last Post will be played by a bugler from the British Army. So who knas.

  7. Solid performance. Good draw. Spurs are shite. Will never tire of beating them.
  8. Because the corporates are killing the game and will continue to do so as long as fans keep facilitating it.
  9. Yet another victory for the woke.
  10. Absolutely thrilling reading, the last few pages. Posted after the game that Osula is a bit of an enigma really. Grafts like fuck and has some great attributes that need a bit more honing, particularly his off the ball movement, but he’s been great off the bench this season.
  11. Thought it was quite good today, driven by the ref. The amount of people booing the players taking the knee though
  12. Not his best, again. Doesn’t seem to hit the same heights in the league that he does in the CL but he’s incredibly unfortunate not to have 2 assists today with Murphy’s second 1v1 and Bruno’s header.
  13. Today was the happiest I’ve been with him in the PL tbh. Probably not saying much but thought he made a big impact today along with Osula.

    Malick Thiaw

    He’s fucking class.
  15. Fair play to them. Not seen anything of their game but appear to be a canny side at present. Hope they drop like a stone asap.
  16. Constantly demanding the ball in the second half. Dragged us back into it. Love him.
  17. Proper enigma this fella. Won us the game in the end. Gerrin lad.
  18. Honestly felt like they could rugby tackle Woltemade and he wouldn’t give it.
  19. Feels huge that. Thought we were proper slack with the ball 1st half. Constantly giving it away in our own half. Fulham should’ve went in at HT at least level really. After the equaliser it was all us. Elanga and Osula made a hell of an impact in spite of the couple of horrendous loose passes the former played. Bruno was brilliant second half as well, never shys away from the ball, always demanding it. Much better when Tonali was on too. Thiaw was fucking excellent, again.

Whey he’s fitting in well at least. Osula’s laugh at the end. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQMPyXCiNcn/?igsh=cGxvYXc3aGE5bWNs
  21. Brann battering the boot lickers.
  22. The amount of schadenfreude that hit at that Brummie daaaaa in the away end fewmin was sensational.
  23. Absolute state of that bald pervert and the excuses he’s making for his pet rat. Everything crossed the pair of them are both brown bread before the weekend is here.
