  1. Think we would all agree that’s the best course of action for all concerned 🤝

    The Other 18

If previous home games are anything to go by, there’s normally nee one still there by 70 mins, so that might be an issue.
  3. It’ll never be that good again. But let’s keep finding out, just in case.
  4. I know Salah’s been shite this season, and could potentially be on a permanent down slope, but going from what they had with him last season, to Semenyo, would still be a massive downgrade.
  5. Coutinho didn’t come close to cutting it at Barca, but I’d probably agree with the Hazard shout.

  7. As someone who has a daughter with a birthday on Boxing Day, I wholeheartedly concur.

Slot refusing to do a press conference before their match against Palace tomorrow (apparently not contractually obliged for LC games like you are for PL games).

    Lewis Hall

Going off this morning’s presser, I’d reckon he’s on the bench at West Ham.

    St James' Park

That looks like it would have a capacity of about 600
  11. ‘Give it O’Neil til end of season’

In comparison, you’re probably right, but it’s representative of the north east as an area, which is far less ethnically diverse than the majority of other areas in the country (especially in and around London). *also probably a bit dodgy to refer to black people as ‘blacks’, but I’m sure most people will appreciate English isn’t you’re first language.

    Doing it on Wednesday. https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/news/newcastle-united-to-commence-remembrance-day-tributes-at-tottenham-hotspur
  14. It’s really becoming a three-way between England, Spain and Italy. Germany have got Bayern and then Dortmund, but it feels like they’re then needing 2 or 3 others to perform at a level above what you would expect. Maybe they could get a bit fortunate in that their teams in the EL and ECL, have really good seasons and being in those comps will allow them to get further (could just about make a similar argument for France), but I can’t really see them impacting the extra place race any other way.
  15. Yeah, as TCD says, it’s average rather than cumulative, so not necessarily an advantage. However, the more teams you have, the more chance there is that some go deep in the competitions, and without wanting to start a debate about the maths involved, I think having a team do really well is more impactful than having a team do really badly.
  16. FWIW, given the start to European comps this season, and the various country coefficients, I’d say it’s looking pretty likely it’ll be five CL places again.
  17. Ah, yes, I thought that was an exhaustive list.
  18. I know it’s kinda the norm nowadays, but our our next 11 matches live on TV. edit - except Burnley (h)
  19. So about £300m’s worth of additional players…

    Yoane Wissa

If he’s not back in November he most likely won’t be going to the AFCON.
  21. Whilst I’m loathe to come on here and actually defend him, he did have a manager of the season award whilst here. And whether you think that was gained with a huge amount of fortune on our side or not, he still achieved it. Bruce’s best achievement whilst here was managing not to be McClaren levels of shit. The off the field stuff, I’m not sure you could really say one was particularly worse than the other.
