  1. Daft as a brush and took the chances when they came thanks to injuries and being left footed.
  2. Man, I want to believe, but I can't. If it happens - great! I wonder if this whole covid-19 thing has hit Ashley in the pockets. This is the most important thing ever to happen to the club, its a defining moment for the club, its a defining moment for me, us, the city, the region. Not only will it be truly amazing to have a club we can be proud of this could regenerate the city. If this happens we will be the most followed team in Saudi Arabia and lots of their royalty and businessmen will come to sjp to watch us from time to time, they may even like the city and invest in it. It could be a game hanger for the city. If this goes through and it goes the right way I am coming back to Newcastle because I can't miss this nor can I let me children miss it. Freudian slips are great.
  3. He was in Dobbie's today buying a big bag of BBQ charcoal.
  4. Even this game would have taken its Tull.
  5. Phil Bardsley must be at least 878 years old.
  6. What has happened to Spurs (and Jose)?

  8. Aww naawww now they're really going to defend. - Steve Bruce on Red Card.
  9. 3-2 Wolves. Jose what happened.
  10. I'm so confused by that.
  11. Meh I always forget the Carabao Cup final isn't on free TV.
  12. "I didn't play ASM today as the stats show that Ben Arfa loses the ball more than any other player." - Steve Bruce, 2020.
  13. Nah, we'll either all be dead or those that are left will be the chosen superhumans by then.
  14. Accosted by the Loch Ness Monster again? Oh wait, that was tree-fiddy. Nevermind.
  15. Could have the unintended consequence of producing better-skilled players. Having to learn to trap the ball with your chest, foot, etc. Yeah. Just play 5 a side and develop technique. FUTSAL! Which currently has a big FA push and initiative with Pokémon to push it in schools and youth level (despite nationally a lack of facilities and understanding of the game). Most people think you can rock up on a five-a-side pitch and play 'FUTSAL INNIT'. I love the game, no idea why the UK is so behind the times with it. Indoors. Fast paced. Skillful. AH wait. http://www.thefa.com/get-involved/player/futsal
  16. It's a tough one. If studies show that repetitive heading can lead to brain injuries similar to concussion then yeah, something needs to change. However, most of the professionals they've scanned have played professionally for 10+ years heading the ball way more than a child will. HOWEVER, the skull and the development of a child's brain still isn't hardened or matured, so yeah. It's a tough spot. You don't want anyone getting long term brain injuries in their later years.
  17. Nathan from NUFC has had a clanger. Emailed out play on the pitch information with open email addresses on show. GDPR fine incoming.
  18. I didn't even know we played today until I saw #bruceout trending on twitter.
  19. Mike Ashley has bought shares in Mulberry.
