Got our hallmark bid package about it. Lot of smoke.

Anybody hear Total Sport? They're going to stop fans 'migrating' (rich irony) from stand to stand at their ground now because of the trouble it causes. I've never seen that at a competitive game outside of pub football, just Morton in a friendly when it started lashing down and people went under the roofed stand to the right. Massive club though

Brighton vs. Newcastle United: 13/08/22 @ 3PM (No UK TV)

Usually games against Brighton are horrific famous last words but don't have those vibes about this one. -
Is the increase in shirts not to do with, you know, it being summer and really hot?

No CL teams in the League Cup and everyone's happy.

The fair comparison is to look at all attendances not just selective exceptions to the rule. Which is why they don't look at those. Its not even competitive. Mackems getting excpetions and rules inverted again.
-
Course they're counting draws. And its even more absurd than that because they don't count the ones we got in a 9 games 6 win streak against them in the 00s.

Going out in a cup preliminary round yet again. How embarrassing (or would be if anybody cared, its strangely unnoteworthy when this massive clubs keeps suffering that fate)

Wouldn't mind a Martin Hardy Touching Distance style book on either season. Or an N.O version of it, everyone's daft little memories of the games, KK's post match comments etc. Was just writing about the first point at Man U the other day, so this is very pertinent. Am so watching tht MOFO this week.

NUFC kits & merchandise - 2025/26 home kit leaked pg. 825

Last time we wore a one-off shirt to avoid a colour clash. It ended up being made available for mass release by popular demand (in a reveral of convention). It was also green. Which will send people absolutely nuts now. Would wearing the home strip be any different to this v - that looks a lot like Brightons shirt now -
https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/1ea984df-b9a5-4dce-aef3-b926439d2b28 I'd say 93/94 because there was still a 'pinch me, I must be dreaming' feeling even though 92/93 raised expectations and the growth showed no signs of abating Plus 92/93 we were pretty much promoted by October it felt like, whereas 93/94 just got better and better passing your expectations all the time. Establishing ourselves August, holding our own September, top half challenge (October), top half (November), challenging for Europe (March) and Europe in the penultimate game (April) On the other hand there seemed a slightly less frenetic style of passing in 93/94 (Liverpool h, Oldham a) as opposed to rapier stuff in my minds eye that the ground swooned over (Luton h, Bristol City) Personally got to loads more away games 93/94 which may prejudice this.

Bet the ratio of pronouncing Shearer correctly wasn't high.

That league is absolutely anybody's.

Didnt see it. Fair play if so but he's owed a few unlucky results still. -

I make that 6 wins in 12months for Bruce. 6 in 29 games. -
Definitely need a spend now. Not to enhance Saturday but because of inevitable injuries and suspensions
-
That's a pet hate too. Such a cop out skill and risk wise and look shit whether scored or missed. Bring back unbroken run ups.
