Been anti-bed wetter all season so this is just logic but cannot see us winning this. Draw at best now.
-
Had hoped that a lot of us calling this (bottom and down v team in form) would smoke out the twist.
-
Was thinking Miggy (agaist Southampton too right?) with that little dink. Cue a Miggy-esque run of chances and not scoring.

Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Newcastle United (07/01/2023)

Cant shift the old mindset of a regular away fan back in the day favouring the nearest clubs with the best allocations. Both Sheffield's qualified on account of that. Like how both grounds look on TV. Know the problems with HIllsbrough and presume the top of the away end is no different to when I was there in the 90s at Brammal Lane in that you cant see the touchline. So of course they scored a goal that day that was questionably over the line or not and wasn't able to pass judgement. -
Would take a fraction of the good luck they've had the last few weeks with other results going for them to squeek in. Every play-off contender bar Coventry (Blackburn, Millwall, Norwich, Watford, Preston, West Brom) shitting the bed in the most unexpected ways - drawing with each other, getting beat at Wigan etc. Millwall had Wigan away and Birmingham at home, just two draws and they'd be fine now

Mourn the loss of the 3pm kick-offs and resent the Saturday evening games and pretty much every other kick-off time for an afternoon but the vaccum is palpable tonight. This must be what it was like when a series of Noel's House Party ended.
-
Read today there'll be a firesale if they don't go up. Would have had at least two cracks at the play-offs if they hadn't appointed him
-
Coventry losing would do it too
-
Bad feeling they'll do it whereas were done before that equaliser win the last game, Coventry could well lose to Boro unless Boro want to do a 1996 and have a skive to shaft a neighbour, Millwall and Blackburn screw each other
-
shit stoppage time Everton spared, mackems will probably jam into the play-offs off that goal
-
choytun bastards

all former PL play-off picture in D3
-
People will say 'more games' but its a cracking chance to win something if you've got your house in order which they/we have
-
....but Carlisle live on, need a Jimmy Glass edit: or two
-
Not content with blitzing their promotion rivals Orient decided to toy with them by letting Stockport win and f*ck the whole picture up
-
Reading going to blow it at home to Wigan
-
some good old-school season ending phoning-it-in, pressure off score-fests and drabness
-
Still think Everton will scrape out of it somehow. Has to be their toughest scrape yet. For all the drama in 94 they only had to beat Wimbledon at home truth be known.
-
Financially doped since Murray left and still been utterly shit in all that time.

Team bang in form at home to a team bottom of the league looking relegated that they've already beaten three times football being football its worth pre-empting that A month ago would have been a great point but they have to win now, which has got to benefit us. -

You Schar make me feel like loving you, loving you yeah baby (would beat DJ Otzi) Like the symbolism of a centre-half getting a would be 5th. Way he sets it up nevermind the strike, stylish as fuck. -
Barry Davies is my all time favourite poet. A transcript on the commentary of his goals would read like that. The authenticity only adds to it.
