No idea what they've seen in him but nevermind his agent, we've done well there ourselves.

Newcastle United vs. Arsenal [EFL Cup]: 05/02/25 @ 20:00 (SkySports)
Wolfcastle replied to Paully's topic in Football
Anybody getting an early goal wins the tie I reckon. Up for grabs for the distance otherwise. -
Just our biggest game of the season but on the other hand there's a slim chance the dropped points by Manchester City will benefit us come the end of the season so its happy days apparently
-
So were supposed to route for Liverpool and Arsenal against everybody every game from the start of a season because we'll not finish above them but they can take points off teams we might finish above?
-
Not saying he's a better manager but that they're fundamentally a bad team and he'd suit that better than someone trying to be elaborate with shit with no experience against better opponents
-
We joke about Bruce going there and everything but its got to the point where he wouldn't make things any worse.
-
Could say the same about David Kelly and it would be just as disgusting
-
CL isn't going to happen but Europe probably will.
-
. They'll finish behind us this season as per usual and we've beaten them from pillar to post for years now but were wanting to switch places because they won today and have a more balance but ultimately worse squad.
-
Just got beat by a team that in general is only a rung down from us and happened to be the better team on the day. Same as how we beat Arsenal twice already. Hardly cause of inquisitions. Its always been the case that this happens at reasonable intervals and always will be the case. The squad isn't strong, we cant strengthen it, there's not much we can do to change anything tactically or personnel wise.

Doesn't really matter with PSR we'd be selling them at some point anyway
-
That's right. There's a lot of things that are vulgar that because of these bullshit rules leave little choice now. Stadium sponsorship, ticket prices, having a farm youth set up, selling home grown players, multi-club ownership. Its all crap but a case of don't hate the player hate the game. These rules are lifting
-
They don't factor expected saves or expected tackles into it which if it was to mean anything they should.
-
Great move for him. Deserves way more respect than he gets on here and in general. Sort of stick he gets should only be reserved for dickheads, lazy bastards and players scamming a living. Wouldn't even feel comfortable talking about Wayne Fereday the way Miggys spoke about on here.
-
Its probably what they'd have transfered to clubs domestically for pre PSR. Only way clubs can get that money is now is to sell to Saudi.
-
I only knew it from that video series that came out for each of them around the late 80s - more wholesome times. Was either Saint or Greavsie presenting it '6 of the best' or something like that - and wondered why just those clubs.
-
Seems its more often the case with new stadiums that a side either stagnates or goes backwards rather than kicks on.
-
Wasn't there a big five in the 80s? Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and Everton. Eveton fell away, Spurs like now were only there because of commerce. Now others arren't allowed to do as they did and join the group because of money whilst they've also ensured none will fall away like Everton who were effectively the #1 club in the country given as they were top of the all time table
-
Watched the goals from Bayerns game last week. Nice flag waving as the games going on and drumming and all that. Shame most people cant even be bothered to even move when a goal goes in.
-
re the empty seats - PSR was never going to do fans any favours. More focus on that revenue stream was bound to see it rinsed and race to the bottom Except the glory hunters of the red cartel who can fill in for locals.
-
Sure would be a shame if Spurs had less money to play with in these new financial restrictions they jerked out all over Masters desk. A real shame. Get it up ya Levy.
-
If they get tax payer funding this farce will be too much to participate in, the stacked deck is bad enough but that would be openly taking the piss and telling you so
-
Seagull in the top right fucking off at 1.39. Lads must have let it go to either boo or storm out.

Heard "Newcastle. United. Will Never Be Defeated" against Wolves. That was a good dredge up mind. First time I heard that was at Boro in the League Cup in 92 and I did idly wonder if it might be the case.
