Did Sir John Hall make a racist joke about Les Ferdinand ages ago?

Saw him in there last time I was there as well, let his dog take a massive shit and didn't pick it up. Then I remembered that he probably couldn't if he wanted to. -
Newcastle United

And I'm supposed to dislike them for that? May as well take up hating Blyth Spartans as well then. And it was one Edward Howe that put them there, so they're very easy to like imo.
-
Got nothing against Bournemouth tbh, I'd substitute them for Sunderland.
-
The Palermo one was good, but the Spurs one he had was the most superhuman performance I've ever seen from a goalkeeper, not just at Newcastle either.

I don't think that's surprising like, they're the same people in the same circles, spouting the same shit.

Takes a lot to shock me these days like, but I actually can't believe he's said that thing and man and age. Just utterly meaningless waffle.

The funniest thing about Froggy is that I don't even think he realises he's doing it despite it being pointed out loads of times. Defend absolutely everything that Man United as a club does to the hilt: the decisions, the player choices, the spending etc. Right up until the point where the argument that's on the table is that they should be doing better or manager X should have done better. Then * click * At that point the defence against that argument is that they can't or did in the circumstances because the club is being badly run: made bad decisions, signed the wrong players against the manager's wishes, overspent on fees and wages etc, and that it's all worse than 14 years of Ashley, and Newcastle have spent a fortune, and aren't that good, and Man United still won trophies. Genuinely not having a go, I think it's really funny. A bit like family, if you or anyone else in the family criticises someone in the family and you all agree, but the moment an outsider says the same thing you all jump to defend them, tell that person to fuck off, and slag off them and their family.

Deadline: "Inshallah"

Which is fine, but then that also means his fee wasn't half Ramsey's at that point.
-
One thing I will say though tbf, is that there's a room-sized elephant in here with all of this.

When you sit and think about all of the factors contributing to a shit atmosphere it's surprising that we ever have one tbh.

I just can't believe that these people would learn in December 2025 that someone had allegedly punched a woman, then go back in time to 2021 and 2024 to post about how much they liked him as a footballer 10 years earlier. It's a disgrace that they would do that. Definitely has moral equivalence with wanting a player after the fact that he wasn't just an alleged rapist but we all heard him raping his girlfriend as well. 100% the same. We've been well and truly clamped in the fourth dimension.

No matter how good we get, there are some that will always need a boo boy. There have been far better players than Elanga who've been that player. As Deka said on AWSF recently, it happened to Robert despite him having 15 odd assists for the season.

Newcastle United 0-2 Manchester City [LCSF 1st Leg] (13/01/25)

Would hazard a guess that it's something to do with the amount of games players have to play. -
Just read it back and based on this and the truly unhinged PMs about female football pundits you randomly sent me years ago I'd prefer it if you didn't communicate with me on here or anywhere ever again like, no offence.

Okay. What does this have to do with me? Because I said Remy is my favourite Ashley-era striker?
-
pardon me?
-
Him looking good for a half and fading suggests it's probably a case of him needing to get 'Newcastle fit'. IIRC from what Villa fans have said, it's usually at about this point that he gets injured again.

Out of the signings that haven't hit the ground running yet, Wissa's definitely the one I'm least worried about. Like a lot of players he's a bit streaky.
-
Just do what I did and hoy me on ignore

Him, Wissa, and Elanga all looked like they had massive stage fright to me.
