As shit of a half of football as we’ve ever played under Howe. Zero intensity, sloppy passing, carelessness with the ball and lack of movement have been endemic this half. It has to be better than this.

He looked solid when he came on yesterday. Didn’t look out of place at all and was nice and vocal which was good to see. We may have got an absolute steal here on a free.

Some takeaways from that game. The midfield of Bruno and Joelinton makes me hard as a cats head. Joelinton was a man mountain. Burn put in a great shift. Gordon's head was up his arse in the first half but gradually came back into the game - nowhere near his best though. Not a good day for Lewis Hall at all but he's young and clearly has potential. Brereton Diaz deserves leprosy. Craig Pawson's wife is clearly getting rattled by a Geordie. Last thing - Bruno showed his quality as captain today. Gee'd the crowd up, made some really vital interceptions, was a bit of a cunt with the niggly fouls when needed - just really showed his experience. I love him in a very confusing way sexually.

Absolute colossus of a player today. So underrated by the rest of the league it's untrue. MoM today for sure.

No other way to say it - he was a bit of a liability today. Defensively he wasn't bad but when we needed to stay calm or break he was all over the place with his passing. He's young and there's clearly some potential there but it wasn't a good day for him.
