There’s been enough in these opening league games to concern me. Inability to score being chief amongst them. Some strange selections from Eddie that I can only hope is based on current fitness levels. Some games we just haven’t look interested.

I will say this - I’ve not seen a player single handedly hand our arses to us like Rashford did in quite a while. For a comparison my head keeps drifting back to Didier Drogba dismantling us in that game Vs Marseille. In the 2nd half he was brilliant, absolutely clinical. If I’m being Uber critical - we didn’t have the right personnel on the pitch at the start of the game. Gordon isnt a central player - never has been. How many sitters is he going to miss with the ball running into him? 3rd one this year I’ve seen. Barnes was ok, run out of ideas and just didn’t have that quality tonight though. Bruno was quiet - again. I know he likes to play every game but you have to wonder if he’s a bit fatigued.

100% sure from the narrative around this game they will try and nullify the crowd early doors and take the sting out the game. I implore all those lucky enough to be attendance to not let up the noise for a single fucking second. Into these tapas eating, estrella drinking twats!

I think on the face of it - city have had a one time pass to sign a gargantuan deal if they ease up on what’s without a doubt the premier leagues Achilles heel from a legal point of view. You can bet the farm though that we won’t be allowed to follow suit and let’s face it we probably wouldn’t have the bollocks to challenge the status quo anyway. We could probably capitalise on this if we wanted to - but once again it will mean nothing changes in regards to how we do business.
