  1. Don’t go ruining your 100% record!
  2. Prefer to think of a Lee Clark, Dave McCreery, David Batty, Keith Gillespie mash-up. Off to search for some facial morphing software to prove my point … ?
  3. So who’s this dude then?
  4. No guarantees, but I fancy to finish top four anyway so I’d bet on it!
  5. This is happening isn’t it. Who else we getting then???
  6. I like wor Eddie’s new spiky hair-do… .

  9. That is a high tax bracket!
  10. In all seriousness we win a trophy and I’m in/on the organising committee.
  11. 62 fecking pages… get it done already!
  12. Great post @Hank Marvin. Top form; and here’s me thinking you were just a shadow of the man you used to be.
  13. We’re assuming, perhaps rightly, that he is forcing a move. He might also be struggling mood wise with the whole scenario. Can’t be easy, especially for a dyed in the wool Evertonian, to be scapegoated and turned upon by the fanbase. Imagine how his family must feel. Glowing with pride to being targeted/shamed.
  14. It’s not the ol’ get banged senseless by Cheryl ‘Queen of Heaton’ recruitment technique is it? Masters of shithousery indeed.
  15. Hope Fulham put out a strong side on Saturday. Will be a good gauge for them, in terms of how far away they are from having a PL suitable squad. Not that I think it’ll be necessary for next season.
  16. Yep, and to be fair Peter Reid at SOS, giving us a wave and jig when we were ‘Monkey-heeding’ him during post match interview.
  17. To be fair, even if you get grief, it wouldn’t take a feather out of you.
  18. Surely not, but then you don’t care if it’s wrong or if it’s right.
  19. Seems like a canny lad. It’s a yes from me ?
  20. The one’s that spring to mind, bar some off field great away trips a long time ago, and some home matches to be fair, which were more about the camaraderie and laughs than the football, are the typical ones I have been lucky to experience in person. In no particular order: Keegan’s first game as a player—sunny day, madness getting in Gallowgate turnstiles and, of course, he only goes and scores. Having the whole corner roar in encouragement as I climbed the fence to get at Dennis Wise as he was chasing Mirandinha (after the radgey knacker kung fu kicked Beasant). 2-0 half-time against Barcelona—couldn’t take it in! Albert’s 5th and standing on seats in Leazes doing Haiwai 5-0 rowing to Manure fans. Singing Abide With Me before Arsenal FA cup final—overcome with emotion of being there (and conviction we were going to win…). Seeing Rob Lee score in Chelsea semi at Wembley. Sheff Utd semi at Old Trafford—whole experience was amazing. Seeing Nobby Solano for the first time (Reserve Match, sat alone in newish Level 7) it was like watching a chess master, the passes picked and executed, just awe inspiring. Some jaw dropping goals: Ginola, Shearer, Beardsley, and Robert deserve a mention; all a bit merged can’t be arsed to tease out the specifics. Keegan winning the 1st Division as manager, getting a wave and thumbs up. Greeting (with a couple of hundred others, I hasten to add) Bobby Robson on the steps of SJP as he was announced manager. Last, and probs most important (and hopefully not prophetic) my first time at SJP. West stand to welcome team back after losing League Cup Final in ‘76. Holding my uncle’s hand up past the building works around Grey’s monument, through the crush of the crowds, the noise, the pageantry and pride, tin foil cups and fancy dress Magpie dancing around the track.
  21. And clear out his locker… .
  22. Would love if we beat them… this is balanced out by thought of seeing us lose to that lot again.
