I think hoying £50m of readies on someone who doesn’t have the pedigree of a Tonali, Isak isn’t the most effective balance of budget. £50m is a Tonali or Reijnders type on the continent. We can get an Elanga-like player for half that price shopping away from the PL premium.

Agreed but the gut feel of a lot of our fans is that Isak will go to a mega club on the continent next season - wouldn’t surprise me if he was Lewandowski’s replacement at Barca.
